Reggie Bush made the Bears look terrible last week. Now Brees and the Saints are going to come in and tear them up.

Falcons play the Jets this week. If they don't beat the Jets then there will be no playoffs this year.
What continues to give me hope is that the Falcons have been in the opposing teams red zone more times than any other team in the league. They just aren't converting those to TD's. They get this figured out and they easily get in the playoffs.

where is Mr. Broken? his Browns lead the division. nice win tonight. too bad Hoyer got hurt, no idea how long he will be out.
Damelon - Chicago needs some sort of cleansing. too much bad luck since MJ retired.

Sarge, hockey has just started. Toews and the Blackhawks are ready to make another run at the cup.
One measure of hope for the Bears: Brees is 0-3 in Chicago.

I watched the Pats Bengals game. The Bengals defense totally dominated the Pats. Brady never got comfy and it showed in his rushed passing.
Seahawks lost. I didnt see it but wouldnt have thought they would lose to the Colts.
Saints win again. I expect them to win the division.
Cowboys are playing a heck of a game but so far the Broncos are still able to stay ahead. The Cowboys would be doing better if they could tackle on first hit and quit falling off and allowing more yards after first hit. At least they are giving Denver a run for it.
Edit... Cowboys are up again... and got the 2 point conversion. Heck of a game.

The Cowboys made it a closer game than anyone expected.
KC are 5-0, aided by a bullshit roughing the quarterback/late hit call.
Both KC and Denver look very vulnerable.

Denver D will improve when Miller comes back. Only out one more game. Improved pass rush won't allow QB's to throw for 500. Even still, they did win.
Pats offense not good enough to win it all. Looks like Denver pulling away. How about Schaub? He's trash now.
Seattle really struggles on road, them and NO will have to battle for that top spot. I think whoever hosts will be in Meadowlands.
How bout dem Giants? Wow, Manning sux. The worst thing about the Giants is that they usually suck since he's been there, but when they have a good year, they win it all. Meanwhile, Reid at Philly one of best teams thru 12 years, yet no title. It's harder to maintain that high level every year. Like Billy Beane said about baseball playoffs, "it's a crapshoot".

They finally proved that if you have no one who can carry, no one who can catch, and no one who can run a route, Tom Brady can't win a football game.
(They almost had a chance to tie up in the last minutes ... but God put an end to that with some truly heavy rain. When the Bengals got the inevitable turnover ... you could hear the angels sing as the clouds parted and the sun shown down.)
I hear that they're going to put in Gronkowski with crutches next week...

Brady's receivers dropped a heck of a lot of passes. They really werent on their game.

Until that game, there was a debate b/w Manning or Brady for MVP. Obviously Manning's numbers are ridiculous, but Brady 4-0 w/0 weapons is really just as impressive. But that was a dud. Bengals are so up and down BTW.

Falcons Jets game. Just painful to see how bad the Falcons defense is. They made a rookie QB look like a 5 year veteran. Without a decent O-line the Falcons just arent gong to be able to do shootouts with other teams. The defense was deplorable. They didnt put pressure on the QB, they weren't playing with a sense of urgency and they missed tackles all over the place.
The Refs were pretty suspect too. Many of the non calls and miscalls were so bad that the announcers mentioned it more than once, and it was mentioned on NFL.com. I dont think it would have mattered though.
So whats wrong with the Falcons this year?! They dont have anyone left on the roster. Bierman (out for season), Ewing (out for season), Johnson (out for the season) Weatherspoon (out until game 11), Steve Jackson (out since game 2), Akeem Dent, injured and out, Sam Baker injured and out, Asante Samual injured and out, Coffman (injured and out), Roddy white playing injured. Its a laundry list of pro-bowlers all out on injury.
So now to add salt to the wound. Looks like Julio got injured in this last game and it might be a season ending injury. That could be the nail in the coffin... check this one handed catch out..

Falcons decided to invest all their money in skilled offensive players, neglecting the o-line and the d-line. is Gonzalez worth 7 million this year?

Denver better come out and smash the Jags. if they allow them to stay close at all it could get ugly. good teams beat teams like the Jags without breaking a sweat. the Denver defense especially needs a strong showing.
