The Killer Miner '49er.

A suspenseful thriller of a mentally deranged killer who became trapped in the iron mines after an earthquake,
while hiding from authorities.
He tries to use all his stealth skills to murder the real miners, who are also trapped underground, before he is discovered.
The trapped miners must put aside their differences and dislikes for each other to survive by digging through the iron deposits to reach the surface before they are slaughtered.
Book 2 is from the killer's point of view.
Based on a fictional story (in my head).

Lol! Love the mining theme and Busty's work will always be very dear to my heart. Since I first encountered Busty as a younger man, I've thought a lot about Jubblee Joo Joos every day.

No worries. No fascination here. Just couldn't think of a good "K" book title, so I just continued my previous title and expanded it.

Not at all, I've genuinely spent a sizeable chunk of pretty much every day for last 35 years or so thinking about the properties of soft tissue in the sternum region of Homo Sapiens of the homogametic gender XX chromosome variety.

I'd quite like to keep the iron mining fascination running if I may, because I like the sheer randomness of it.
