1. You think your going to get squished by a car and find some beastie talking like Golum, threating you, then finding your 2000 feet above the ground being hammered by some voice that compells you into something you don't understand.

2. Getting smeared with a glittery mud, passing out thinking you have been slipped a mickey. Waking up and finding out your tarzan and jane is lookin good.

3. Having "MoM' protect your butt because some very angry big young fellow is going to cut body parts from you because of what you did. And not trying to explain what happened to Mom after she knows what happen to her child. Or really expressing any sorrow. (Moms can be very protective)

I think the trip to the land and the first sections are some very messed up experiences.

1) The rape

2) The Giantish triplets - the end of the Giants' Exile meaning their slaughter by their highest hopes, not finding Home.

3) Elena getting far too friendly towards TC

'Elena Foul-Wife' at the Colossus always gives me the creeps.

And 4 yr old Pietten licking blood and smiling.

Actually the whole "hey dad,you raped mom and completely screwed up my families lives, lets be lovers beloved" thing was pretty screwed up, that and leaving the island WITHOUT A DAMN LIMB!

TC killing Pietten even after all his "I'll do no more killing." remorse/guilt trip

2) Elena and the Ranyhyn dancing together ( Really cool,But dancing with Horses? I thought it was Dances with wolves??

3)TC getting fried/killed by the Wild Magic by Lord Foul,I figured TC was immune to that...........

And Yes,The rape was really f'ed up in a real bad way

Yeah, that whole thing involving the end of the giants was pretty f'ed up.

Yeah,I'll agree there as well,jay. The end of the Giants really put a bad F'ed up taste in my mouth for the whole of TPTP.................really sucky

As a father of a lil girl had to be the rape----hell even as a 13 r old reading them for the first time the rape was ummmmmm out there.

The sunbane was a f'ed up experience and of itself

About the whole "leaving the One Tree without a limb" part, one thing that always struck me as odd is that not a single member of the company wondered about Vain's wooden arm and whether it might actually be wood from the Tree. I mean, it turned into wood while they were on the island.

Did SRD use any words like lust or desire when describing what Elena was feeling?
I don't remember.
I do remember thinking the whole thing was pretty creepy though!

Oh, i'd forgotten about the razor blade incident. Creepy.
