It'd take you a long time to blow up or shoot all the sheep in this country, but one diseased banana...could kill 'em all.

I didn't even know sheep ate bananas.

Bought it earlier today! Found it very relaxing, though I did have to skip a couple tracks. The best cuts are right up there with the Division Bell, for me.

I got Graham Coxon's album yesterday, because it was £12 and came with a free pair of tickets to see him play a fairly exclusive-ish show in Brighton on Thursday. I quite like it, though a couple of songs seem kind of like filler-ish material.

Def Leppard. 70's glam and hardrock covers.

Oh, and some guy named Johnny Cash has a rarities album out. Looks interesting.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Iron Maiden have a new album due this year. It'd better be superior to Dance of Death. *shakes fist in mild irritation*

I got these the day they came out. I'm still bugging my family by taking over our TV/stereo every weekend. The Grace concert was the highlight for me, since I had a bootleg copy of the ASOH tour for years now, and I've been listening to ESL since the 80's.

Sound quality is excellent. Picture quality not so much. I'm a Rush fanatic. I've seen every tour since Presto (when I became old enough to go see concerts). So this set kind of completes my Rush experience. If only we had some concert footage from All the World's a Stage!

I've got the Rush in Rio DVD. This was, in my opinion, the best tour they've done (well, since Presto). It's a shame that the sound was butchered on that one. The Brazilian crowd was going freakin' nuts. I mean they were singing along with YYZ!! (an instrumental that doesn't lend itself to singing along)

But the best Rush DVD is the R30, the latest. I'm disappointed that the entire set list wasn't included, but the sound and picture quality are absolutely magical. Geddy has hinted that the entire concert will be rereleased some time in the future . . . I'm betting in High Definition format, since the concert was recorded that way. With the first HD DVD player just released this year, hopefully that won't be too long of a wait.

It's truly a good time to be a Rush fan. My wife is very jealous, given that her favorite band (Tool) is still working on their very first concert DVD from a 4-year-old tour! And I've now got FIVE concert DVDs from my favorite band. Thank you Rush!

Weird Al just came out with a new CD! Woo!

There are a few good songs on there that I've heard so far. Mainly, White & Nerdy and Don't Download This Song.

Good fun.-jay

ROTFLMAO! Heheh, somebody wrote a Stargate: Atlantis fanfic that celebrated Weird Al's new cd. Looks like there are some funny songs on there...
