No, but you misunderstand drew...take the Earthblood as a shot - powerful stuff - so we have the POWER OF COMMAND, then the added bonus of complete inhibition as the beer slams into us when we follow it with the chaser (or two) - so not only do we have the ability to DO anything, we also have the added bonus of BELIEVING we can do anything. I'm thinking that if Elena would have had a few in her when she took the stuff, things would have turned out differently. I mean really...calling up some dead guy who had already failed...no wasted off their ass person would do that!

You do have to be able to somewhat hold your Earthblood and drink.

Yeah..what would would happen if you just swished the EB around your mouth and then spit it out...would you get your command?
Or like a toned down version.
Like if Elena spit (*snicker*) maybe it just would have been some guy named Kevin that showed up...?

If we learned anything fron Elena it was that the Power of Command should not be used.It is a violation of choice. Thats why the creator doesnt use it.

the power of command cant be used on white gold because its outside the law, and the ravers souls cannot be touched because they are outside the law until they take possesion of mortal flesh i would think..but then again it was able to command kevin from his death so the ability bond them to something like the colosus at the very least might be possible. The Law is not being able to have good without evil, Law balances the two, hot without cold night without day Life without death and so on, the Ill banes in the earth had been balanced by Earthpower so My command would be to make the people and animals of the land impervious to Coercion by ravers or foul, give them the same ability to prevent a raver that the giants and Bloodguard had, but that might also close them to the earthpower preventing them from using it, the giants and bloodguard didnt seem to have any power wielding lore besides the ability to use gildenlode & mind speech. so that may be something that would create a blinder like kevins dirt. to help may render them inert. commanding the ravers would probably be useless, foul being outside the law could interfere with their captivity and i dont know if you can command a soul to not exist. you could employ the use of a couple Sandgorgons since Nom has some intelligence he might be willing to explain the possibilities once a raver has been rended to his fellow sandgorgons
but my command would be no command at all... Damelon & Kevin both knew why not to use it, Foul was outside the command..and almost surely able to manipulate any command given since it was bound by the law of time and not free of consequences, anything commanded would be turned against you eventually.so like the haruchai he chose not to use a weapon that could be rebounded on him or the land, look what Elena did just by telling Kevin to come back and fight Foul, what an idiot she was..
I might come back during peace time, take a drink and say.... I want the earthpower to make me Elohim.
but then they would probably appoint me to something really messed up. see nothing without consequence... always a bad side to balance the good...

Amen.
But...why would the Creator put the PoC in/on the Earth?

The PoC is a like a shadow of the power the Creator used to make the world. It's just natural that some of this power is concentrated in Earthblood.

? HOw is Earthblood 'natural'? the Creator would have had to intend Earthpower...bleeding Earth is not a positive thing really, I dunno...

For and in the land Earthblood must be natural because it's what makes the Land alive. I don't think the Creator made the world and then added Earthpower or PoC to it. He made the world with it (out of it) so it is an essential part of the world he created.

But I thought that the text says that they believe it bleeds under the weight of Skyweir?

That's were it comes to the surface. Remember, everywhere in the land Earthpower is stronger (and probably closer to the surface) than in other places in this world. It is responsiblke for the health sense of those who live in the Land. In this respect "bleeding" is not necessarily a bad thing but maybe a metaphor for "overflowing with vitaliy."

Does the text ever explain why the EP shows up in the Land most?
(oh, and, umm....your, umm, dog helmet...uh...it's just not quite as, well...I think 'intimidating' is the word here?)

Because of the weight of Skyweir probably.
