Okay, Doomsday I know (sort of), but, uh, anyone know who Onslaught is yet? I eagerly await relief from my ignorance...

Short story is he was a blend of Xavier's and Magneto's minds with Nate Grey and Franklin Richards thrown together too.
He pretty much kicked the earth heroes of the Marvel Universe's butt.
I'd give it to Onslaught.
Doomsday would beat him physically like the Hulk did but then Onslaught would wipe him out.
(I wonder ho that reads to people who haven't read it?)
Nom or a Balrog?

Wow! Good one!
I'd give it to NOM - Force of nature who can answer a call across a vast ocean instantly and rend and consume a Raver can certainly beat an elder demon's butt!!
Willy Wonka new movie vs. Willy Wonka old movie?

No one can beat Gene Wilder.
That 70's Show cast vs. the Happy Days cast

Happy days because too many catch phrases came out of that show.
("Sit On It!",
The "Fonz saying: "Aiye-e-e",
The T.V. Show-biz term: "Jumping The Shark",
and of course... "Nerd!")
And all of the spin-off shows also.
How many can you think of from That 70's Show?
The Geico lizard or Louis, the Budweiser frog?

Louis. He'd call in his Clydesdale buddies to stomp the gecko.
Aunt Bea or Granny?

Granny - she's a tough old bird
Sherriff Andy Taylor vs. Marshall Dillon

Tough call! It would depend on had the home court advantage. Still, my gut tells me Sheriff Taylor....he'd probably be able to talk some sense into Matt.
Mrs. Paul or The Gorton's Fisherman

The Gorton's guy would use her for fishbait.....
Mr. Clean or the Brawny Paper Towel guy?

Mr. Clean. He's been around alot longer than the Brawny guy, knows all the tricks of the trade.
Tony the Tiger or Toucan Sam

Tony keeps saying how things are "Gr-r-r-eat!" while Sam choses to follow his nose.
Unfortunatly, that is what leads to Sam getting his nose bashed by Tony.
This makes Sam fly away and Tony hungry for another bowl of cereal.
It looks like Tony wins this round.
Betty Crocker or Sara Lee?

Bruce Lee was the first, the best, and the baddest.

Inspector Clouseau would win, but entirely by accident.
Betty vs. Wilma?

Wilma easily (she has to handle Fred - Betty only has to handle Barney)
The French Mastiff from "Turner and Hooch" vs. Stephen King's Cujo

Cujo, unless he slips on Hooch's drool and beaks his neck.
Inspector Clouseau, or Lt. Frank Dreben?
Posted: Tue Aug 30, 2005 5:10 am
by matrixman
Dreben. I think bumbling American detective beats bungling French detective. Clouseau might accidentally whack Dreben with a well-mistimed karate chop, but Dreben will most likely miss Clouseau entirely. However, Dreben's missed punch hits the lady friend standing behind Clouseau; the lady falls and trips against a switch which opens a trap door underneath Clouseau, which sends him down a chute into a tank filled with ravenous piranha.
Which BS rules? Britney "I like Mr. Bush" Spears or Bruce "I like Mr. Bush out of office" Springsteen?
(This could get me into hot water, but I couldn't resist the wordplay...)

I'm taking Brittney on this one, MM. He's still in hot water over blasting the NYPD; just imagine what they'd do to him if he tried to assault a pregnant woman!
Who can take the most punishmant; Detective Nordberg, or Chief Inspector Dreyfuss?

Chief Inspector Dreyfuss because... well, uh...
he's the Chief Inspector!

Amnion - way more technology!
Sly Stalone's most aggressive "character" vs. Arnold Schwartzenegger's most aggressive "character" (ya need to tell who from each!)
