The main page www.kevinswatch.com has been unavailable all day (to me anyway from 2 locations).

I just get the basic "The page cannot be displayed" error.

I can get here from a link to another page (like going directly to the forum) but not the main page.

Just a heads up.

Seems like it's working now.

Sometimes my school server (which the main site is on, not the message board) craps out temporarily. Heh.

Is it working now for you?

Speaking of which, soon I'll be moving the site over to a new server. My new school's server. Heh.-jay

Looks to me like the website is working (www.wam.umd.edu/~resop/watch.html), but the domain name (www.kevinswatch.com) isn't.

I had problems logging in today...kept getting a "Page not found" error after submitting my log-in details. The main page (which I went to in case I could fool the error) worked fine. Anyway...finally got logged in obviously. Took ages though.

Internal server errors may no longer be a problem, but this new version of KW still seems slow compared to the old. Pages still take an inordinately long time to load. Is it just me that's experiencing that? Is it the new phpBB code that is sluggish or is it the new server?

Don't really have a problem with that myself, as long as my bandwidth is reasonably open.

Did you use www.kevinswatch.com or did you go by a direct link? Because kevinswatch.com is still not working when I try it.
Jay, you should look into that. The problem's at the domain name server rather than on the site.

No, I used the "home" link from the index page. Typing in the url doesn't work for me either it seems.

That's because phpBB decided my comma was part of the URL.
So kevinswatch.com is working for you? Interesting, because it won't open the page at all for me. I can only get there through the real address, wam.umd.edu/~resop/watch.html

Hm... So, um, is this still a problem? Since it seems to be all working fine for me.-jay

It's working now for me, too; hadn't been for most of the day (including after your post, Jay).

It's possible that whoever was going to send it to you deleted it from their outbox before you came to view it, but after the notification was sent.

Just got this, trying to post in GenDisc:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ihugny.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache/1.3.37 Server at kevinswatch.ihugny.com Port 80
When I hit the back button and refreshed the page, however, my post was there. I was posting from the "quick reply" box, in case that makes a difference.
