well, Linden is gonna definately dominate at least FR and likely the last two as well. Don't see how TC can get a ring in edgewise...

Didn't I read somewhere on that THOOLAH page that someone said that Donaldson had indicated that it would "definitely be the Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, not Linden Avery." Hm... now that I've written that out, it sounds like one of those "I heard from my sister's boyfriend's little brother's best friend's cousin--" things. Is this seriously going to be the Second Chronicles of Linden Avery? It sure seems that way so far... :(

No, he said that when he was asked how TC was going to be a major character if he was dead.
That by the very title of the series it was about TC not Linden Avery (thank God!)

SRD will pull it out I am sure. but Linden will definately figure heavily in the series. I just wonder if TC can be a convincing POC character because he is a part of the Arch, a deity, so his helplessness and all that stuff is gone. How we can sympathize, i dont know.

I think he's still helpless. I don't think he'll be able to interfere in any meaningful way. If he's a 'diety' or now a being like the Creator or Foul, in the land's mythology, he'd have to someone fulfill a role like the one he once filled. Probably Linden.
