If anyone was confused by my entry, it was based on Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Despite Dam-sel's belief that it was an Elton John song, it actually dates back to a quartet known as The Beatles.

I knew the song KK was doing. Love in an Elevator by Aerosmith. I was also particularly proud of these passages in my rendition:

In the day we sweat it out in the fields of an inchoate weather scene
At night we ride on coursers of horror like suicide machines
Sprung from cages out of revelstone,
weird horned, roynish skinned and steppin out over the line

Your tirade makes me wonder if you even realize Janis's version is also a remake.......Emma Franklin did it originally. Also, radios have an "off" button, and if you can't get to it, earplugs are about 39 cents a pair.

As for me, I pick Shuram Gudatetris, because he put his heart & soul into it, and my uncle had a bad case of Gudatetris once, and it damn near killed him.
