I would like to promise aliantha in every pot and a ranyhyn in every pasture.
Sorry, I don't do pot. You must have me confused with some other Watcher.

So that's all clear...aliantha in every pot, but no pot in any aliantha...all that remains to be decided is
Who makes the rain?
Who tends the 'shrooms?

I'm content to let him be a high-ranking member of the 'shroom think tank, and head taste-tester...not sure about leaving him to grow them...

As it happens, I do an excellent cover of "God of Thunder," and invented a Nat. American deck of Tarot, should jenn need accompaniment.

Currently working on a "Land" version of the deck, btw, if anyone has suggestions.

[for the record, it's the psychology and art in it that fascinates me, not literal supernatural powers/influence]

Sarge: I CAN'T imagine that, but I wish I could, or better yet was there while it happened.

Vraith, that's really what Tarot cards are good for, anyway -- tapping into your buried/subconscious feelings about a situation. I'd love to see your Native American deck sometime. And altho I'm no Tarot expert, I'd be happy to consult on the Land deck. :)

I would be happy to consult on a land deck too!

vraith - you must post the native american set of tarot and whatever you have for the land deck. please?

OOH, maybe I should make a Mordant's Need deck...

and on a minor sad note i finally finished the newspapers everyone got me. (luci, ali, john...) if i forgot anyone - shout out so i can apologize.

and julie bought me a bunch. they are in a box waiting to be tossed out. :( i enjoyed the heck out of them. so thank you everyone. really love reading them from faraway places (sf, dc, chicago, new mexico, arizona and texas. plus one usa today)

but now a little more of the fest washes away. i did get some stuff for future poems out of them. :)

And you will always have the lapel pin to look upon and smile...

Also, you might think about not throwing them away but taking a single article that interested you from each one and making a scrap book of them.

the pin is prominent on the board Jenn! it stands out. :) great idea about the scrap book.

as an artist i always work better with a partner. julie is fantastic at helping me make real life art from my far flung ideas.

I shall ask her about getting a scrap book. next time we meet you will have to sign it for me Jenn. :):):)

I just thought it would be a good way for you to keep parts of the papers you collect and gather them into a collection of things that motivated/interested you. If it were me, I would cut out the paper title such as "Boston Herald" and paste the article below it making sure to include the date.

Huh...peeps are actually interested? I'll see what I can do, though I hate to embarrass myself: I'm really no artist.
It'll take a while...all of it is actually pencil sketches, and I'm highly disorganized and I don't own a digi cam or scanner at the moment [well...I do have a scanner, just not a working one].

The Land one I've done nothing but thinking about "which char should be what?" starting with the major arcana...I actually played with it long ago, but now I want to take the LC's into account.

I guess I'll start gathering stuff, and start a thread about it when I've got something reasonable.

Like I said...it'll take a while.
