Peter, it's 4 notes, and it was done by a famous miniature artist in collaboration with the mint.

It's the fucking Numismatists Lobby.
Sure, they seem like ordinary geeks who make normal shit extremely "valuable" to satisfy their silly fetish...
But they've actually infiltrated the Illuminati, the Masons, AND the Templars.
The truth is that there is Ancient Esoteric Wisdom hidden in cash.
They tried to co-opt Pink Floyd for their song...but it failed, so they broke them up...
Cyndi Lauper reveals secret truths...
It goes on and on...
Why do you think that the total amount of cash held in banks is far less than the amount people have put IN banks? And that is just the tip of the iceberg...
But that's all I dare say...crazy laugh..."I have no audience"..."I live on hallucinogenics...NO...STAY AWAY"...[[[gurgle gurgle bleed bleed...last breath..."peter...they didn't find...Stater...first...electrum...Ussi...ussi...Lorin's purse...' cough, die.

None of us gets to choose the hand we are dealt in life; we just have to play the best game we can with it.

Mmmm.........

Nah! Life is Zero Sum: what you gain in one place you'll loose elsewhere. You can cheat in life - but you'll never cheat life itself.

(I think ....... ;) )

As Hank Williams Sr. sang, "No matter how I struggle and strive, I'll never get out of this world alive."

Research shows that 10 out of 10 people are affected by death. Although those who don't die are not likely to share that information with others. I read once about the legend of the Wandering Jew, who did something bad and was forced to be immortal because that was considered the appropriate punishment. There are books and movies based on the idea. Yes, these are fiction; but like I said, those afflicted with immortality on earth probably wouldn't let on. So who knows... the Bible says "it is appointed to man once to die", but doesn't say when. 8O

Imagine the conditions in a person that are so unusual that aging is not a function of their body biologically. They aren't indestructible but never physically age. Research has revealed tantalizing glimpses that suggest that it might be possible to arrest aging in humans in some far flung future. But what if those mythical conditions already existed in some subtly mutated soul that has been curse with walking this earth for centuries?

Curse? Idea/characters I've done nothing with yet related/inverted from that.
For the first 50,000 years it WAS a curse---mostly boredom, nothing ever changed. Even the pain of every loved person/thing dying had become just a kind of boring. [your first love dies, horror. Your thousandth?? meh]. But now the curse is no longer---because things are finally changing fast enough to end the boredom.

"The doom of the Elves is to be immortal, to love the beauty of the world,
to bring it to full flower with their gifts of delicacy and perfection,
to last while it lasts, never leaving it even when 'slain', but returning -
and yet, when the Followers come, to teach them, and make way for them,
to 'fade' as the Followers grow and absorb the life from which both proceed.
The Doom (or the Gift) of Men is mortality, freedom from the circles of the world."

I once heard immortality described in these terms:

You are standing on a beach and each grain of sand represents a full human lifespan. You live the length of time of every grain of sand on that beach end to end - and still you haven't started. This time, all of that time, for all of those grains of sand is represented in just one of the grains of sand and again you live the massively extended period of time represented by every grain of sand .........And yet still, you haven't started. And so on it goes.

Too much I think.
