Cheer up Cov Jr. You will learn to love the newbie and cease to mourn the passing of the oldie.

Guns, don't worry about being uncool. I don't know what they are talking about either but based on the reactions I really think we are better off not knowing. 8O 8)

Wylde, I agree with Ali on the workboy and I hope you feel better soon.

Ladies, yay for quiet weekends.

I feel good. It's friday. Tomorrow it is more wedding dress shopping with Julie and then at 5 we are getting facials. Then hopefully my face will be normal again in time for taking my pal Terry out for her birthday dinner. :P
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

The only way I will get a quiet weekend is if I sell the kids to the gypsies. Heh. Or send them to Houston to my brother and SIL.
If women were in charge, the military would have to do bake sales in order to buy more weapons.

Does this mean that I can buy kids from gypsies? I wonder how much they sell them for, in case I am infertile.

Well for me it would be a money making scheme. See they would drop them on the doorstep at like 3am. This could work for a while until I run out of groups of gypsies... or how fast they spread the word.

I bet if you wanted to buy some from a group of gypsies they would make you a good offer and not haggle too much.

I don't know about gypsies but a laundromat I had to use a couple of times had a sign up...."Children left unattended will be sold to the circus".
I'll get you the phone number if you're interested.

Slightly hopeful? Saturday's forecast......1 to 3 inches of snow. C'mon baby!

Thanks, everyone. I'm actually feeling better. And regarding the guy, he's cool and fun, but there's no chemistry, so I am hoping that a)he just wants to be friends, or b) he will just move on to someone else. *shrugs*

I feel relieved.
Last night was stressful, as Beorn flew to MIL's for the long weekend. I was told we would receive a phone call when he arrived, which was scheduled for 9:50 pm.

At midnight I attempted calling. Voice mail.

Finally, Beorn called at 10:00 am. He thought he had left a message saying he arrived fine. Problem was he was speaking to dead air. He's so used to dialing our full telephone number locally that he didn't dial 1 first, so the call never went through.

I would go catch up on some much needed sleep, but I have Borderlands Orders to cobble together...

Are you kidding?! Alex keeps reminding me she will be a teenager this year! Like I NEED to be reminded. Sheesh.

My goddaughters have the audacity to be 19 and 15!

Happy plotting, m'lord!

As for me, I am going home for the day. Actually, I am going to my bro frere's game store for a tutorial on how to run the shop. I'm filling in for him tomorrow, so wish me luck dealing with the gamers, both little and not-so-little. 8O

I went to a kiddies party yesterday for 8 whole hours...it kinda deteriorated into an adult and kiddie party after a while. SoS had a great time, I had an ok time although my head this morning says "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH". I wish I could go back to bed but unfortunately I have to go clean our old rental property.
