When the girls and I did Mesa Verde, we also stopped at Four Corners (I have pictures somewhere...). Sadly, we went at Christmas break, and all the fry bread stands were closed. :( We need to do this, people.

Much less worried---looks like we'll have a really good finished product---Romeo does a ton of work this time of the year, so RL is getting in the way for him. Please be patient, it'll be worth it. (It also should be one the the only new big things on SRD's site before TLD is completed, so well worth waiting for)

I was wondering about this the other day. Thanks for the update, Danlo!

Let me just say for the record that I am EXTREMELY disappointed that I was not able to participate this year...I would love to meet everyone but that weekend was my birthday and I was in the Grand Canyon and well...it just didn't work out...but I'm so glad you all had a great time in NM...I've lived in lots of different places and it is the best by far...
What are you looking at?

Thanks very much, SD. Some other people have said the same thing, and I want to thank them, too. I have usually let such comments just pass. Not because I'm not affected, but because my peculiar sensibilities dictate that bringing attention to such comments isn't humble.

But I figure once can't hurt.

No one wanted to be at this years' Elohimfest more than I. I followed the event, and the events leading up to the event, avidly, and vicariously. There were so many people I wanted to meet, and so many people I wanted to meet again. (Ultimately, that's why I sent my book along as a poor substitute me.) And so many people I wish I had met and didn't know it until after. No one wants to see those videos more than I.

Ultimately it was finances and family situation which kept me away this year. That won't happen on the next one. Which will be in Boston next year, if I have any say about it. :) And it won't happen in 2013 in Albequerque, either.

So thanks for all the warm and generous expressions of friendship. Know that it warms me and has me looking forward even more to the next time.

I'm good with Boston. 8) I'm betting Magickmaker will want to come, too -- she's been pestering me to go to Wagamama's at that touristy place I can never pronounce (Fanny Hall?).

Is it too soon to start planning the 2012 E-fest?

Ali, it's Faneuil hall, pronounced fan-you-ill hall emphasis on the fan. They used to have the best clam chowder in a blues bar that ever existed. Might still be there, been a long time.

I would not be opposed to a Boston visit. It's been a long time since I swilled a pint at the Leeside in Woodshole or ate a diabetic coma inducing cannoli at Mike's in the North End.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....
