Upon further reflection, and for the sake of the continuance of this thread, I have decided that drew's answer is close enough. I intended to have the answer be that Mhoram was the only one who was not an outcast, which can sometimes (but not always) be equated with being the good guy. Please take your turn, drew.

It's a question that assumes the thread reader has gone through all 10 Chronicles books. Hint: one doesn't belong because a different kind of being, different kind of lifeform, than the others.
