I have a query for Xar that will clear up a couple of issues: When the gift was granted, was the condition that we not act against one another upheld?

I, to the Allfather, wrote:First, the request to be granted for Eiran: Following the agreement of the Pantheon, I humbly submit that each god's DRP be increased by 5 for this turn. This is in concordance with their agreement, in spirit and in letter, to not use any DRP on this turn for the intentional harm of another deity or their followers. Should any god intentionally seek to bring harm to another on this turn, I ask that the DRP evaporate like the mist into which I send these thoughts. If they intentionally violate the oath, I rest assured that your punishment will be appropriate.
Keep in mind that Bhakti cannot actually USE those points: those are borrowed DRPs from last turn, and the rules specify you cannot save DRPs from one turn to the next. The 41-DRP note was mostly to give you an idea of what you people had accomplished, not to say he has 41 DRPs to spend. In addition, he and I had an email exchange in which I clarified additional "ground rules" for this kind of situations. Most are irrelevant now, but the important one is: no matter how many DRPs one has, he still cannot directly harm a god, move it elsewhere, change his domains, or otherwise tamper with his DRP expenditure.Loremaster wrote:I'm going to get something off my chest. I think it's really unfair Bhakti's been given such a huge amount of drps. Yes, even if it happened to me I would say the same (as would you all). There's no love between Bhakti and Nor Yekith, so basically I am facing him doing whatever he wants to me. Even if I spent all my drps on protecting myself it wouldn't do a thing.
I would have no problem if he gained five more on his own ability or activities, but to be given so much due to something most likely beyond his control is unfair.
At least I spent points I earned on one of those things. Now you've been given 41drps, which is really excessive.Bhakti wrote:At any rate, invading me and kidnapping, spreading the plague to my people, and threatening my child might not have been the best things to do.![]()
Xar, please check email now. I'm still not clear on everything.
(And yeah, following that I just had to go change it in my spreadsheet. It was a little confusing.)Xar wrote:Keep in mind that Bhakti cannot actually USE those points: those are borrowed DRPs from last turn, and the rules specify you cannot save DRPs from one turn to the next. Of course I would not be happy. And that's because you've repeatedly acted against me, and sworn my destruction. And vague things like "Your destruction, in a way," with nothing but secrecy and more attacks, cannot possibly be expected to give me warm, fuzzy feelings.Loremaster wrote:At least I spent points I earned on one of those things. Would you be happy if I had that amount?
