He wasn't. And please, let Avatar pose the question. It's still his turn. (I promise to help with a reminder in the form of a PM if he doesn't post a question by early next week, billingsgate. Until then, I'm in favor of giving him some more time. Thank you.)

Eh, thanks CH, but I really don't mind. :D Been so slack at putting a question up, I'm happy to cede my turn and let the question stand.

(Also, interested to see the proposed answer, since my answer would have been the same as yours.)

The real question (haha) is is that a valid question?

Is there for example somewhere in the book where somebody refers to Angus with that term, even albeit sarcastically?

Avatar, I don't think anywhere in the Gap is Angus referred to as "a loveable creature", not even sarcastically.

I appreciate billingsgate for the useful contribution of creating the zone-implants thread in this forum, but I still don't think the question about Angus has a straight answer from the Gap books. If billingsgate wants to post a different opinion on that, I will watch for it in the next week and try to keep an open mind. But I suspect it's really still your Gap Quiz question, Avatar. :)

Ok Ok. :D

When Warden Dios is being held on the Calm Horizons, which two people does Angus want to offer them in exchange for returning Warden?

What two main Gap characters are partially based on Wagner's Ring characters of Siegmund and Sieglinde?

Angus and Morn.

Well done, Hunchback Jack, and welcome to the Gap Quiz thread!!

 :ct16:   :7up: :ct03: :yeehaa: :S :R :bwave: :bounce03: :letsparty:

(I felt I had to go with "partially based", because Stephen R. Donaldson came up with the characters Angus and Morn and the plot of The Real Story before he conceived of merging them with the events of Wagner's Ring cycle.)

It's your question, then, HBJ! 8)

Thanks! I've been reading the thread for a while, and the questions are all so tough that I was surprised I knew that one.

Okay, how about this:

Of whom did Hashi Lebwohl say, "If (he) didn't exist, it would have been necessary to invent him"?

Is a hint needed?

From my perspective, no. I have it down to two possibilities, but since I have no desire to have to pose a new question, I won't venture to guess either of my choices.
