I've not read any of the books that this forum is centered around, but I am hoping I could at least borrow one *pokes Creator*. Failing that, I'll check out the local libraries. Failing that, I'll simply wander around ignorant of all.
Of course I will loan you my copies!
I will bring them when we go out to dinner next!!

Yay! Another Aussie - and GAP crazy! Welcome (even though I'm pretty new here myself!)djaef wrote:Greetings to everyone at the Watch!
I'm a long time Covenant fan from Down Under - I bought the books when they came out, and have been lucky enought to meet Stephen and get all 6 signed by him
I'm thrilled about the new book and series. Can't wait for them!!
I don't know how much I'll get dragged into this place, but since I've just re-read the first 5 of the Covenant books in the last three weeks, my heads pretty full with it at the moment.
Oh, I've also read everything else Donaldson has written except Reave the Just and The Man who series... I LOVE The Gap series. That's just blisteringly good.
Anyway, that's me.

Hey great site...lots of fun...cept one thing...must all postings by members have their clever little sayings in them everytime? It begins to suck to read and reread and rereread them over and over when trying to read the posting itself. This is especially difficult for people with attending issues and visual problems.kevinswatch wrote:The new official "say hi" topic. Enjoy!-jay

Welcome to the Watch Giant Friend. I'm afraid that the best advice about the signature lines that I can offer is that you not read them.
Personally, I like them, and although I'll leave it to the Admins to offer an official response, I doubt we'll do away with them.
Beside that, it's good to know that you're enjoying yourself. Take a good look around though...the Watch is far more than just a fan site.
