That had nothing to do with the characters' sexualities and everything to do with the mage continually lighting us on fire. Although one of that party's relatives is in this one, so maybe we could be the "Flaming Idiots: The Next Generation".

Followed by "Flaming Idiots: Deep Astral Six", "Flaming Idiots: Explorers", and "Flaming Idiots: Combustion"

Also, this time around, we're all resistant or immune to fire. And our fireball thrower is not also a Wild Mage. That goes a long way to us not self-immolating several times a day.

And that other time, we were less secure in ourselves as players to do anything so risque as have our characters flirt with each other.

And so... the flaming has gone from a purely external fires to a more internalized, general flaming on the part of all the party members.

And if I'm being honest, I probably wouldn't be trying to get into a player's pants I could see across a table. That would be weird. "Hey, there, hot stuff, let's go back to my tent. And can you pass the chips?"

I blame bad parenting. Having an elf in the household, that's already one strike against you, in the gay column. And using magic at home... there's your gateway deviation... opened the door to all kinds of other abnormal tendencies.
