LOL.. I am a little more relaxed about it. Anytime I see a Tim's cup or smell the stuff I get cravings. Its usually during this time I give in ... perhaps 2 or three times a week...

I heard from a co-worker that there is actually some kind of gadget you can get which automates rolling up the rim of Tim Horton's cups.

What, in case you don't have the energy to do it yourself? But...you just had the coffee!

hilarious. and why am i not surprised....

My parents can't roll up their rims;

They go through this big ritual, where they take their cups home, and dad neatly cuts to slits on either side of the rroll-up area, before they do the rolling.

Oh BTW--still only the one winner. Must be about fifteen or so loosers.

Remember the first year, when they had bikes, and barbecues, and all kinds of prizes?

yah, they had a lot of 'smaller' prizes ... now they are just going big with less (or so it seems)
Doesn't Coffee Time have a similar rim-rolling thingee, but they have a prize in EVERY SINGLE CUP! Albeit stuff like "buy two donuts, get one free"-type thing ...

I've never heard of Coffee Time...must be some sort of Upper Canadian place.

Robbin's decided to have their Flip up the Rim the same time as Tim's.

Why I've no idea, since the biggest prizse is $500.

I think the smaller chains should just be willing to take the loss every March.

We don't tend to have things like rolling or flipping up rims. Usually there are game pieces attached to the cup. However, I can see there'd be less chance of stealing the game piece if you have to damage the product to do it. Interesting.

That's cause in the States, Chicken actually costs less than coffee.

I was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia but was adopted out after less than month and grew up in the States. So technically I am an import. Since then I have (mostly through my wife's awesome initiative) found my biological parents and visited them in New Brunswick and British Columbia. I have visited Nova Scotia as well. All beautiful places if anyone ever gets the chance.

Funny picture, Drew! It wasn't long ago that we finally got a Timmy Ho's down here in Rochester, NY USA. With our proximity I thought it would have happened sooner.

Hi again, aras! Edmonton ... I have driven through but never stopped & visited. I have to admit I just had some timbits yesterday. A friend brought some in as a belated birthday gesture. Nice of him. Timbits are dangerous. To paraphrase comedian Jim Gaffigan "Oh, they're so small. I'll just have one ... or twelve."

That is SO true about TimBits. Many a time I have gone to pick up a pack to eat in front of a Friday night TV movie with my family only to realize an hour later that I ate 18 of the 20!

My family is rarely amused....

Just tell them you are watching out for their health because you love them.
