Well, in about 2.5 days, I will once again cook my own breakfast. I don't know all the details yet, but it will include eggs, grits and bacon. Mountain Dew will once again supply my caffeine.

This morning I had cheerios, along with three cans of diet lime-flavored coke. The weather has been really foul the last few days, and its been hard getting moving the morning lately. :|

I left at 7:30 for two tests at the college, but not before eating a bagel and drinking a glass of orange juice. Once home, I had a proper breakfast (proper by my definition). This is usually the breakfast I always have, whenever I have time:

Bowl of oatmeal (flavor varies day to day), a toasted bagel with cream cheese (usually strawberry), a glass of orange juice, and one cup of coffee (two packs of sugar, hazelnut cream). As I type this, I'm listening to "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast". And there's still some food left. Cheerio!

I am sharing a toasted whole wheat bagel with my dog. :) I'm about to run upstairs and make some hot tea, and that I will not share with him.

well, for breakfast yesterday, I cooked up a breakfast scramble....

1 medium red onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 jar (4-1/2 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
3 Tbsp butter OR margarine
12 eggs
3/4 cup half and half cream
1-1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp minced chives

In a skillet, saute the onion, green pepper and mushrooms in butter until crisp and tender. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, cream, salt & pepper; add to skillet. Cook over medium heat until eggs are almost set, stirring occassionally. Sprinkle with cheese and chives. Cover & cook until eggs are completely set and cheese is melted.

I love eggs. ;)

Wow, looking at my old post, I can't believe I ate a bagel with cream cheese on it. Geez.

These days, I eat 40g/single serving of steel cut oatmeal, a bagel with jam/jelly/preserves on it. I add nothing to the oatmeal, except a sprinkle some of raisins and some banana slices. Still drink coffee afterwards; flavor varies; my favorite is "toffee nut".

Fresh coffee - which I very rarely drink and some left over banana bread that someone brought the police department.

Two pink grapefruits, two toasted english muffins with real butter and strawberry preserves, glass of very pulpy O.J.

Breakfast Pizza - turkey sausage, lowfat cheddar, shredded hash brown potaotes over a base of lowfat croissant dough and egg beaters as the "sauce". This is now my breakfast of choice.....

Oh I also had an orange and some coffee.
