Okay, I'm halfway there. <grumble mutter shoulda booked my flight when I saw cheaper fares last week grumble mutter maybe they'll come down soon mumble grutter> <wait, what?>

I've reserved a campsite at Chatfield Reservoir, south of Denver, from Friday the 20th through Monday the 23rd. Anybody willing to stay with me? :lol: The site will take two tents and up to 6 people. It's just me and my solo tent so far (tho I could bring the bigger tent if there are any takers :biggrin: ).

Laugh if you will, but the campsite is 18 bucks a night!

Yup, it's an upgrade from last year's E-fest. Tho Danlo's backyard was pretty nice. 8)

I also looked into Amtrak, but that's running about the same as a plane ticket. Debating whether to drive, but it's a long haul from here....

Ah well. Let's see if the airline prices come down.

I'm trying to wrap Sea-fest into my roadtrip, but so far everyone involved in my other trip is too busy to respond to my questions. :roll: I guess I may have to wait until tonight to get some answers.

I wouldn't ask them to. This trip is very much about Lucimay and Seareach bonding with one another and I would not want to try to butt in on that. It's Thelma and Louise, not Thelma, Louise and Jenn.... :biggrin: I'm excited for them to get to do this. :biggrin:

I'm getting a little more serious about this-Tam and Elora will be in Tampa at the time. I'll stay with you if Menolly can't make it or I'll have to have Cag find me a dirt cheap motel.

You never know :P To my mind, if I'm heading to the States anyway (and that's still far from definite) I might as well stick around as long as I can. Value for money and all that. :P So I could see about heading for Denver. Another flight? Why not? :lol: :roll:

It's looking like it's gonna be SF for me - I think I can make that weekend but I don't think I can make the Denver weekend. I haven't made any arrangements yet though. Jenn, can you send me some info on nearby hotels close to where you are?
