Apparently there was a telegram sent out from the devs regarding the slow down, but The Illumined never received it...

Did you ever get to the bottom of that question you had about new industries, Menolly? I had the five year plan issue a few days ago, and it gave me the option of kickstarting a cotton industry at the expense of my software industry. So at last I could address the shortage of clothing in Inis Rua. Or so I thought. My industries weren't affected at all.
And around issues as a whole - I'm not getting the same couple of issues again and again that I was before the ice age, but then again, all the issues I have had since (except 5 year plan) have not had any potential for reducing any Inis Rua's shortages. Grrr.

No, no answers as of yet from the devs, Stone.
And my industries still aren't growing if I reinforce them...

Woo-hoo!
Finally!!!
The really big news in NS2 is that we've also finished the world migration feature! Yes, now you can finally move your favorite nation to another world with your favorite friends and enemies. There are a couple caveats to this though. First, free players can only move twice before having to purchase "World Visas" from NS2, so choose carefully. Ambassadors may move as many times as they wish. Second, because features like war and continental issues are still not finished, there aren't many consequences of moving worlds, and we will let players move as often as they like for now. However, in the future we will add a "cooldown" to world moving such that you can only migrate once every few weeks. This will prevent nations from moving into a world, messing things up, and jumping straight to another one. To migrate to another world, follow these steps:
1) If you have multiple nations, switch to the nation that you wish to migrate by choosing it from the "Select your World" drop-down box in the upper-right quadrant of any page.
2) Click "Browse Nations" in the left-hand nav-bar.
3) Click "Browse Nations in other worlds" at the top.
4) Click on the world that you would like to migrate to.
5) Click "Move to this world" underneath "All nations in
6) Click confirm.
If we want to all be together, we need to choose a World that is just opening so it doesn't get full before we can all migrate there, and plan to migrate all at the same time.
Any interest in doing this as a group?
Also, the telegram the above was in also addressed the missing industry issue. Have you seen it Stone?

Do we want War Enabled or no?
Right now it looks like Worlds 85 through 88 are our best chance, as they all have about 200 slots still open. They're all large, War Enabled worlds.
It looks like none of the small or medium size worlds, or the War Disabled worlds have openings at the moment.

Since I am not an ambassador, and don't intend to become one, I can only move twice. Let me hear from at least a few of the others that they are moving to world 88 as well. I don't want to move and have the world get full before everyone moves in, OK?

Read it again, Stone.
I think
ambassadors can move as often as they like for now. But that they will be implementing a "cool down" period eventually, which will restrict ambassadors to moving every couple of weeks.

Agreed.
But I suspect Andelain will be even better!
Maybe you could recruit RadioSilence to create a nation on World 88, and start a Cheese Producers 2 or some such.

Yeah...
...don't ask me what happened. I haven't the slightest idea.
OK. Since Slobenia hasn't been playing, and you're the only other player I know on World 20, if you'll jump to World 88, I'll jump.
...damnit...
Getting the following error:
Move to World 88
There was an error processing this template element

Found him.
I also see that it says he "left" his continent on World 7 and told them he was moving to World 88. I was able to leave Cheese Producers, but don't see a way to leave a continent. Do I need to do that before I can switch worlds? I thought only alliance membership needed to be deleted and that one would automatically be deleted from a continent when you switched worlds.

worth checking out
Edit - this is interesting: still can't move, but I wonder if it's due to the comparative size of Inis Rua and The Illumined, menolly? Our GDPs are huge compared to the other nations in world 88 - so thinking about it, there isn't going to be the volume of goods available on the world market to satisfy our needs - or if there is, and we buy enough for our needs, it'll leave very little left for the comparatively much smaller needs of the other countries.
To back this up, my other nation, Tory, just moved to world 88 without a problem. I only set up Tory a couple of weeks ago, so it has a population of 2 million or so and a GDP of 3million, so it fits in well on world 88.
Edit 2: Though just noticed this in Arctic on 88:
3 hours ago Arctic in World 88: Diktatur (deleted) left this alliance. Their official statement was: “Moving to World 18.”
