Anyway, I am hoping to upload part of an introduction for Ingmann either tonight or Wednesday night. I have been doing a lot of thesis writing lately, so I haven't had much time to do a lot of personal creative work. I may post a few pieces in the intro thread, or possibly just one.
"For the love of God, Montresor!"
"Yes," I said, "for the love of God!" - Edgar Allan Poe, The Cask of Amontillado.

Greetings, ladies and gentlemen. It pleases me to no end to introduce myself. I am humbled by the quality of character here, and find my curiosity piqued. To that end, I do hope to make acquaintances of you all. If you may permit me to make an introduction, I am The Rake. Simply, and indubitably, The Rake. Actor, noble, cad and adventurer. Lover, saint, villain and victim. Finding myself in this strange land, I hope to make my services available to all - to entertain or to accomplish more nefarious deeds. Or perhaps, to make a greater name for myself.
If you see me on the road, do not hesitate to throw a coin or two for some excellent company or amusement. Ladies, you but have to flourish a bosom, flatter your eyelids or cast me a smile, and I will steal your heart. For those of more reprehensible persuasion, know that I am a duelist of renown; many a man has fallen to my blade and gun, and many a lovely lady has both been made a widow as much as a lover of mine.
Now, I hear adventure calling, so I must depart!
With regards,
The Rake.

High praise, considering the calibre of your own entryStone Magnet wrote: Stunningly macabre. A most...enlightening recollection, Herr Doktor.

Many thanks. Expect more tales of the Dokotor's iniquitous pursuit of science to be forthcoming...
I must admit, I'm more than a little influenced by all the Hammer I've been watching of late.

It probably says something about me that THIS is what comes to my mind when you say "Hammer".Montresor wrote:I must admit, I'm more than a little influenced by all the Hammer I've been watching of late.

I must admit I am rooting for Maxus
Also guys, The NPC list may seem a bit combat character heavy, but I have made it to counter weigh players characters, so that the venture is balanced. Also, these are just the major men, there are a score of miners and workers etc attached. Total man power of around 30-50 men involved. Those that are showing now can be considered as manager types.
Ill add some more over time

Very cool processing on the images. May I suggest that the threads Valley of Blood (renamed perhaps to General Discussion), Recruitment and Backstories be made sticky so as not to get lost in the mix? I'm sure you were just on that haha. Everything else, including the NPCs, looks awesome.
Druids gather at the circle of stones,
To worship the ancient ones.
In the glow of a dying red sun,
Their rites of evil have only just begun...

Done.
With all these locations done, Im starting to get quite excited about the game, its so close to being ready.
Obviously there are alot more locations throughout the nation, They will be posted as they are discovered by the players. Also, I still need to flesh out alot of locations for Sinestadt over the next few days

Trés bien, Dorian. I get stuck away from the Watch for a little while, and when I come back, everybody wants to run games again. I blame you, so you have my great thanks.
In line with Stone Magnet's request, can you rename the thread titles to include something unique to VoB? It makes it easier for my email rules to file things into the proper folders that way. (Otherwise, I have VoB "Rules & Comments" going into the Aesir folder, etc.)
And finally, having looked at your (awesome) picture choices for the location threads so far, I thought you might be interested in the following:
www.loc.gov/exhibits/empire/gorskii.html
Actual color photographs of the Tzar's Imperial Russia, from back when American photos were all Black & White.
