PEBKAC: Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair
Ever heard of an ID-ten-T problem [Id10T]? It's basically the same as the above. My friend works in a mac sales/repair shop, and he says that they use that all the time about calls they get.

That reminds me of something people used to say at my old workplace. Not computer-related at all, but it amused me. If there was a difficult customer or someone uncooperative from another office, people around me would start calling them a legend, but with a hard G, like leg-end. Eventually I had to ask why they did it, and my question was answered with a question.
"What do you mean when you say 'leg-end'?"
"Leg-end. What's at the end of a leg?"
"A foot?"
"The other end."
"Ahhh...an arsehole."

what exactly does THOOLAH stand for? I get the general idea and am pretty sure that the last 3 letters would be "Linden Avery Haters/Hate/Hatred" but I just can't seem to guess what the double O's are.

I believe it stands for The Honorable Order Of Linden Avery Haters.
You can ask Jay directly, he came up with it. I'm not one of those misguided souls.

Ah ha! thank you that was bugging me. I'm not of the Linden hating variety either but I do have some strong "bring back TC" leanings.
