Why wont the Browns wont trade cheap shots, I understand that its not the most popular philosophy, but when the Ravens go after Colts knee's then you put a helmet on one of Flacco's. End his season. Send the message. If your the Browns you need not fear the penalty, your going to be called for it even if you do nothing. Stand up for yourselves, and make sure next time they leave bush league cheapshots in Baltimore.

Falcons still cant put a good game together. Roddy cant seem to hold on to the ball anymore. He missed more than a few good passes. Julio missed two routes totally and one of those caused a interception. Penalties seem to hold them back. Two touchdowns called back by penalties. They can still make the playoffs but the way they are playing right now, whats the point?

Tebow gets a lot of attention, but I think he just put together a better passing game than either Ryan or Flacco has all year. No one expects Tebow to be good passer, but these other 2 are supposed to be good, young QBs, and they are both having bad years, particularly Flacco. I don't know why there isn't more hand wringing about their poor play than Tebow.

Great NYG/GB game. Manning leads them down for tying TD and 2 pt conv, w/:58 secs left. Only, that's enough time for Rodgers to get them to chip shot FG range. GB defense is horrible, but hasn't stopped them yet.

This was an absolutely fantastic game. Two teams I couldn't care any less about played 60 minutes of great football.

With all due respect, the officiating was the least of Cleveland's problems.

I'm not trying to blame the loss on the officials, the Browns obviously suck. That being said the officials need to at least be consistant in calling penalties. Last week a bogus call on Scott Fujita did cost us the game. The front office of the Browns can try to blame it on the long snapper, but what about the field goal that was taken away because why? Because even though the replay clearly shows a good kick, because the kick was higher than the goal posts its not reviewable. Not reviewable even though the new rules clearly state that all scoring plays are reviewable. The Refs in yesterday's game ignored several instances of blatant holding by Baltimores offensive line, and by choosing not to throw the flag , yes they did influence the outcome of the game. That's why it is infuriating because the Ravens didn't need their help.

Again, with all due respect, the officiating has sucked league-wide for years. For every bad call against the Browns all season long, I can point to bad calls against the Patriots, the Ravens, the Steelers, the 49ers, and so on.

Come on man, there hasn't been a single play in the NFL in decades that holding couldn't be called on. Complaining about the officiating is like complaining about someone robbing your house after it's burned down. It's not the problem.

And it's certainly not particular to the Browns.

8O I would say you've hit the nail right on the head, but with replay, and seventy different available camera angles there is just no excuse for making a bad call.

Again I am reminded of last weeks game in which the Browns were completely hosed by officiating, the Jerome Simpson flop in particular. Simpson dragged Scott Fujita out of the pile by one leg , an act completely ignored by 2 officials ( both clearly visible in Youtube video) at which point no flag has been thrown, then Simpsons circus acrobat flop which the official doesnt see, then the official looks over see's Simpson down and finally throws the flag. After which the official ruling is that there were offsetting penalties. Simpsons leg pull ( completely real), and Fujita's imaginary whatever the Ref didnt see but decided to flag anyway ( completely fictional ) . There Ive presented evidence to support my opinion, but even if you dont care to continue this argument you should check out the video. I just typed in Jerome simpson flop.

I've seen it, so what? Are you seriously trying to argue that it's just the Browns that this happens to?

Not at all. Are you seriously trying to say that it happen's to the Ravens as much, they dont keep stats on that kind of thing though do they? Makes it too easy to point out then. I dont expect you to agree with me, I dont even really want you to, but you cant expect me to ever agree with you either. Write me off as a Kook, conspiracy theorist, whatever it is that you take me for, thats your right, but also exactly what a Ravens fan would say while they reap the benefits of the NFL's agenda against the city of Cleveland. I know I shouldnt bring up that old stuff right, but if you look at it from my point of view... well you cant really can you?

Sorry man, your persecution complex is showing. If you go onto YouTube and type in the name of any NFL team, then type "boneheaded officiating", you'll get plenty of hits.

There is no NFL bias against Cleveland. Never has been, probably never will be. Baltimore didn't steal your team, Baltimore got an expansion team, while you guys got to keep your name, your records, and your colors.

The sooner y'all stop blaming everyone else for your problems, the sooner y'all have a chance of getting your crap together. Cleveland's a helluva franchise, it's a shame the fans have given up on them.

If that is your version of what happened I would point at that the " expansion " team that Baltimore was given was a complete roster of veterans from Cleveland, while the fans of the Browns were forced to sit out a few years, until the League allowed them another team, you stole our team , our rivalry, and the League allowed it . Now they celebrate it, no your victors version of history doesnt wash with me Cail, and you may not like what I have to say but Ill just keep saying it. Also I dont blame others for my problems, I blame you.

It isn't the victor's version, it's the actual real version. You can keep blaming Baltimore, and that completely avoids the fact that the owner of the team decided he wanted to move the team because he wasn't getting the support from the city. The team you go to see every week is the Cleveland Browns; the same team that's been in existence since 1946. Y'all just took a 3-year sabbatical. Your team name, colors, and records are still intact. The Browns, The Ravens, and the NFL all consider the Browns to be the same team since 1946, and the Ravens an expansion team.

Your anger is misplaced. You should be furious at Art Model, and at your city for playing a game of brinksmanship with him. My city and state tried that, and we lost our team. Y'all are lucky you didn't.

As someone who was a Cleveland resident and fan back when the Browns snuck out of town under cover of darkness, I agree that Art Model deserves the lion's share (no offense, dAN) of the blame. I also understand that the city that formerly hosted the Colts feels it was their right to have a team and that the Ravens were that team...but it is specious to call them an expansion team. They were a relocated existing team, just as the Colts were when they moved to Indianapolis. The team now called the Browns, while it inherited the colors and traditions of the former team some years later, was an NFL expansion team and started from scratch organizationally. Period.

Bad calls? Tell the Seahawks, who would have prevailed over the Steelers in SB XL if the Zebras had not also been playing against the 'Hawks.

Speaking of the Ravens, and the Steelers, with only 4 games left the Browns play the Ravens again, and the Steeler's twice, with a sprinkling of Cardinals thrown in just for good measure. Hows that for strength of schedule?

Except that's not the case. As far as the NFL is concerned, the Ravens are an expansion team. The Colts were a relocated team. While there were several members of the '95 Browns that played for the '96 Ravens, they most assuredly were not the same team.

Trust me, there's never been anyone in Baltimore who's ever referred to the team as the Baltimore Browns.
