Was the wet shirt scene in your dream? Did you ask him about it? *grin* okay...too much Edge of Reason for Iryssa (fantastic book)...
I dreamed about painting...'cause that's what I've been doing the past few days; painting my new house. Only, in my dream, none of the colors were working...purples, blues, reds, yellows, greens, creams...all of them turned out white once they were on the walls! Of course, I would never use that many colors in one house in reality...but I was still ticked.
I've noticed that I don't dream about the book I'm reading if it's not Fantasy or Sci-Fi...

LOL! Don't I wish!
No, it was much more mechanical than that. More like he was inspecting a horse!

But it was a good reminder that it's time for me to go to the dentist again--I made an appointment yesterday!
The Colin-Firth-as-Mr-Darcy thing came up because I went to see Edge of Reason last week, and over the weekend I did nothing but read Georgette Heyer novels and eat turkey-and-stuffing sandwiches.

Last night, I dreamed that my house was beseiged by full-size Transformers. I had to fend them off with a tiny gun. It was actually quite scary, they were very sinister.

I take it they were Decepticons? Or did Optimus Prime and Bumblebee turn evil all of a sudden? I mean, the OP could be very scary, but a Sinister Bumblebee is highly unlikely....
I hate it when one has only a tiny gun to pit against a world of nightmares.

Last night I dreamt that we were sailing back from our Head Office (in Holland) when the boat was boarded by the CEO, who'd somehow become a pirate. He was choosing who to take as slaves and who should walk the plank when I woke up!

They were non-specific Transformers. I have a vague notion that someone resembling Starscream was present.
Gart - dreaming about work-related stuff is a bad sign

I always get nervous when I'm around people that have either the decepticon or transformer logo on their clothes... I always think I'm going to be walking by a bus, or a sportscar and it's going to turn into a massive robot and kill the kid, just in case he's really a decepticon or transformer, depending on the logo. That's a big risk to take!

Well, 2 months after my separation, I have finally started having dreams again. But it's weird; it's like my dating life, in reverse.

In my dream: I am about ten years old, sitting at a table that was not my own--not now, and not when I was ten. I am trying to do some kind of homework, but none of it makes sense. I can read the words, but they are like babble.
A man comes in smelling sweaty and exuding an aura of angriness. I am afraid of him. But he doesn't do anything to me. But I know he could and he had in the past.
((Note--this is all in the dream. I don't know this man at all in reality))
So I sat very still and waited until he left. Then I got up and quietly went into another room which was very small at the top of a very narrow and steep stairway. And I sat up there and wished I had some chocolate milk.
Strange.

My dating life in reverse would be nice; I'd have dates.

I and someone else whose identity eludes me now were doing battle with a pirate in some kind of warehouse. It wasn't a straightforward battle, we were mostly running away and trying to hit him with heavy objects when he caught up with us. At one point we tried to grind him to death in a contraption that comprised four upturned pool tables with toilet rolls on the legs. That didn't work, so we ran outside and found ourselves near my house. We saw two of my friends flounce past, ran after them, stole a car, didn't use it, and eventually reached my house. The two friends in question (sisters) were dancing strangely in my neighbour's car port. And that was that.

After my girlfriend and I broke up, I started dreaming again for the first time in a long time, but they were generally horrific dreams, very dark and menacing and gothic, etc... those weren't that bad though, and there weren't many of them.
AFTER we got back together, and I had successfully repressed all of my feelings and memories from the period we were broken up (ha ha! Jem does it again! Way to go!), I continued to (rarely) have dreams that I remembered. Many of them seemed to be pages out of the chapters of my life that I couldn't remember... it drew connections between my break up and the time period after my internet addiction, with themes of co dependency, that I'm not even ready to recognize yet.

Last night I dreamt I made lasagna and scalloped potatoes. What an odd combination. And the sad thing was that I never got to eat any of it! Sniff.

And now it's time for a Hillbilly Moment!
I dreamed that I was hitting Moksha in the head with a large plush frog. It croaked "Hi there" every time I hit Mokkie. Mwahahahahaha!!!!

Turiya Foul, I don't think I've ever spoken to you on the boards, but for some reason whenever I read your 'I'm not just White Trash, I'm Ravertrash!" I always imagine you busting into the house in House of 1000 Corpses and blasting the place to pieces
Don't know if that means anything to you, though...
edited for spelling
