Great danlo, drastic action may be needed to prevent the Smith contagion from overrunning this peaceful garden. I recommend multiple camera set-ups, moody lighting, high-speed photography, and water. Lots of water.

Julius Caesar once said that if you have a library and a garden, you have all you need. The meaning is obvious: one produces food for the belly, the other provides nourishment for the mind.
And prepping a garden and yards provides achy muscles and sunburn, if you forget to put lotion on

. I've been working on my property for 3 days straight. I'm so sore I can't see straight. But boy does it look fabulous! If we keep this up it's going to knock out the eyes of all them
Elohimfesters! Just another thing to enjoy on their trip out here-poor spoiled babies!
I'm psyched! I can't wait to get rid of the rest of the weeds--have to rent a burner--to enjoy such wonderful serenity. Then to plant! WOOHOO!

A child of the soil are we, danlo?
I wish I were attending the Elohimfest so that I could see the work you put in. My sister will be moving out to Arizona in May. Once she's settled and I can afford a visit, I might be fortunate enough to swing through N.M.

Captain America! He's alive! Hope he's not flashing some subliminal message at me.
(Just realized TOM C's avatar was doing that. Had my web animation option in IE turned off for a while.)

It's not very Zen-like to barf in the Garden. Either clean that up or drop it in the compost heap.
He sat for weeks under the Bodhi Tree
Before the morning sun Opened his Eyes;
Lotus blossoms fell from the sky.
She walked through the Gateless Gate,
Upright, staff in hand;
Plum blossoms opened across the land.
Gnawing on his koan bone,
Suddenly, the taste of insight--
Blue flowers amidst the gravesites.
She sat and sat,
Till yea was nay, and nay was yea;
While roses bloomed on day by day
