I saw that scrolling across the bottom of ESPN's screen yesterday. This morning I'm mulling over some trade offers that have been made to me the last couple of days. Maybe I can pick up the pieces. ;)

Poor Damelon always gets whacked like this--he can have my newest rotating back--no, not Jacobs-now it's Marion Barber, if you want  Suggs and Dayne have been cut--so there's pretty much crap left--but Danye may pop back up with Houston. What's the deal with Branch? NE just picks up Gabriel from Oak--what are they going to do leave Branch twisting in the wind? Will he have to sit out?

Here's a bit from SI.com:

Overrated: Even if you think the Chiefs will run the same offense than in past seasons under Dick Vermeil. Even if you believe that the loss of Willie Roaf at left tackle won't hurt the team's production. Even if you believe that Herman Edwards' conservative style won't interfere with the Chiefs past penchant for the big play. Even if you think Larry Johnson won't be 75 percent of KC's offense, there's no way that Trent Green should be one of the first five quarterbacks selected.

It's about Green, but I think it speaks alot about LJ. First 3 points apply to him, plus, as has been already mentioned, he's not surprising anyone, and w/no passing attack, you can stack against the run. I think Alexander was 1, then LT. Remember, last 2 years Brees was good, b4 that SD didn't really have good QB. Rivers just has to avoid being dreadful.

Damelon (Old Lords) has--and hopefully that will be a bright spot. He just dropped D. Davis and his backup QB is undergoing an appendetomy.

I just went through my matchups for the entire season, and I definately got the short end of the stick as far as byes go.

Out of all of the byes through the season, I only go against 2 or 3 teams that have bye players on our weeks to play, and that is only on their defenses or kickers.

So much for any help from the schedule on playing teams with major players on byes...

So...Cyberweez...

Our week one match up may be a couple of players light on your side of the ball, with both Steve Smith and Hines Ward hurting.

Damn the luck!!!

Did you play Ward last night? I hope so for your sake!

I started Ward, but also Smith, so it was a wash anyway. I like my RB, but I need a solid WR. Hurt Smith, Ward, and useless Evans, not good. Come on jerelak, you need RB and I need WR. Lets make it happen.

Is there any way the commissioner can take Droughns off the 'can't cut' list?

What a loser he is....I'm accepting all trade offers for him, natch.

Wow, wonder what they're planning to do with him.

To me it suggests that they have little confidence in the health of D. Jackson.
