Glad to hear it!

Good stuff, Sarge. Always loved museums and zoos as a kid. Still do, in fact. Good times.

They'll love it. And if they don't, sell them to a shady man behind a dingy bar.

Having a couple of couples over for an easter lunch. The first time of the year where the Danish smorgasbord REALLY shines!
3 kinds of herring, 3 mayonnaise salads ("mackrel & tomataoes", "prawns" and "wieners'n tatties") 7 kinds of meat/cold-cuts. Finishing of with a ripe danish cheese. See the galley for further description.
And of course beer and dill schnapps a plenty!

We got miss Grace a lovely Easter dress, but I don't know where we'll be going. I'd like to go to the mountians to commemorate the one year anniversary of my Mom's passing on Sunday.

My condolences Danlo. I didn't know your mother had passed on. Has her ashes been scattered in the mountains, or was she particularly fond of them?

Her ashes were scattered on the Atlantic by some New York based group called the Neptune Society.

In other words my post represented a false dichotomy. Sorry.
The Neptune society looks like the way to go btw. I could go for that if we had something similar here.
Edit: I see now that the "Them" in my previous post could have been misunderstood to mean "the ashes". It does of course refer to "the mountains"

I'm going to church. A lot. Then I'm going to my grandmother's house.

Oh, I should make Easter Eggs. I forgot. And the yearly "bathroom egg" that I put wax on and roll behind the toilet. That's a favorite every year.

I guess I'm going to see my parents this weekend, probably go down (which really means east and slightly south) there tomorrow afternoon. I suppose I should call and check if I will need to bring nice clothes in case my Mom wants us to attend Easter service. Hm. . .
Other than that, I'm looking for a place to live. The one I gambled on fell through.

I'm sure it will all work out for the best ~Lyr, I hope you enjoy the holiday with your family. I'm going to take Mini-me to Sunday service if she's still up to it after we talk.

Man it feels good when others do the pimping for you.
The smorgasbord sounds
awesome, Prebear!

I'm not doing anything special this weekend, but back on Thursday, a colleague at work mentioned that he was going to have an Easter party, with everyone dressed up as disciples of Jesus. They were going to serve drinks like "Jesus Juice" and "Moses Dark Ale."

My roommate and I are doing a easter/ostara egg hunt for our hall on friday, all the eggs will have candy and facts about Easter/Ostara in them. It's our social for the year.
I'm excited about it!

Well, my weekend is over now. I spent it lying in my hammock with Claire, watching movies and generally being a lazy-ass for awhile. It felt good to relax.

Going to Nashville to spend the weekend with my gf's parents. They're finally starting to warm up to me.

My weekend starts today.
I'm in Holland for the week and really glad for the break!
Having a nice man to cuddle up to and cook for me also adds to the perks
