A dog hides in the night
Don't know wrong from right
A dog hides from the heat
I need sugar sweet, I need some
But she says I'm going to ruin my mind

Something's gone wrong inside
I'm thinking paradise
All that I want
And a little water
And a little water
Something's going wrong in my mind
Something's going wrong inside
I'm thinking... paradise

Julie your mother cried
Sent home a bullet for the family
That's how your father died
Died a broken and lonely man
Something's going wrong in my mind
Something's going wrong inside
I'm thinking hey...

Hey lord keep ahold
You don't ever know where to fall
Hey lord keep ahold
You don't ever know where to fall

A dog hides in the night
Don't know wrong from right
A dog hides in the heat
I need sugar sweet, I need some
But she says I'm gonna ruin my mind
Something's gone wrong inside
I'm thinking... paradise

Julie your mother cried
Sent home a bullet for the family
That's how your father died
Died a broken and lonely man
Something's going wrong in my mind
Something's going wrong inside
I'm thinking... paradise
Paradise... paradise

Dr. Frank Sangster is a straight-laced dentist who because of one innocent lie, finds his tidy, prosperous life transformed into a comic quagmire of illicit sex, illegal drugs and inexplicable murder in this brilliantly offbeat, bitingly comedic film! Written by Thomas Nudi

The Screaming Trees should've had it all, and Sweet Oblivion is the album that should've given it to them. The Ellensburg, Washington, band's second major-label disc is as expert a set of pounding grunge and shifting moods as anything this side of Nirvana. But despite a set of brilliant hooks, intriguing lyrics ("Shadow of the Season," "Julie Paradise"), and Mark Lanegan's attention-getting vocals, it stopped short of going gold. Still, along with its belated follow-up, Dust, this is a masterwork of '90s hard rock. --Rickey Wright

Carrier Screening for Ashkenazi Jews:
Recommend that carrier screening for CF, Canavan disease, familial dysautonomia and Tay-Sachs disease be offered to all Ashkenazi Jews who are considering pregnancy. In addition, recommend carrier screening be offered for Fanconi anemia (group c), Niemann-Pick (Type A), Bloom syndrome, mucolipidosis IV, and Gauncher disease. Offering of testing should ideally take place before pregnancy. If only one member of a couple is of Ashkenazi Jewish background, testing should still be offered. One Jewish grandparent is sufficient to offer testing. However, if someone is unsure as to their precise lineage, it is recommended to offer testing.

I have the cover all done for Into the Light, and I'll see what the author wanted for 'A Jolly good fellow". Hopefully Gentle Wind won't need too much editing. I think it was already published somewhere. Blue Haze must be almost ready as well.
Does Traces need more tweaking in formating in the lulu file I sent?
Oh, did you see the review for Attack of the Killer Prom Dresses over at MyShelf?
:-) Very nice!

incidently, this story features lots of battles where crazy men opt to use identicle models to represent both sides of a pitched battle. it is confusing to the viewer. and we imagine double so for any of the warriors actually taking part in such a battle. since ships fight at close range, how does anyone know who to fire at?

vacuum and dust (major job with all these books), clean the kitchen and bathroom, and break up the unused boxes and take them out with the garbage.

Hi
Here are the notes for Horse Passages. Not much to add!
I think you're right to ask for anecdotes - it would add a lot to the book. I think just a few would make it work.
I hope Michael is all right!!

Another thing, I recommend replacing the NORTH STAR blurb we have on our home page and the Lulu book page with a quote from the NORTH STAR review:
“Saying this is a story about a man who lost his wings and a centaur traveling beyond the boundaries of its world, to search for a lost people, would be like saying Beowulf is about a warrior who fights scary monsters, or that Don Quixote is about a crazy old man who rides around Spain and thinks he is a knight. North Star is so much more.” – MyShelf.com
I think the reviewer is right. Unfortunately any blurb we could write would have to be implausibly boastful to tell the truth about it. Did we thank her, by the way? I know I was too stunned to think about it.

Karen, I found some more on the life of St. George in connection to the dragon.
Of the many miracles worked by the holy Great Martyr George, the most famous are depicted in iconography. In the saint's native city of Beirut were many idol-worshippers. Outside the city, near Mount Lebanon, was a large lake, inhabited by an enormous dragon-like serpent. Coming out of the lake, it devoured people, and there was nothing anyone could do, since the breath from its nostrils poisoned the very air.

On the advice of the demons inhabiting the idols, the local ruler came to a decision. Each day the people would draw lots to feed their own children to the serpent, and he promised to sacrifice his only daughter when his turn came. That time did come, and the ruler dressed her in her finest attire, then sent her off to the lake. The girl wept bitterly, awaiting her death. Unexpectedly for her, St George rode up on his horse with spear in hand. The girl implored him not to leave her, lest she perish.

The saint signed himself with the Sign of the Cross. He rushed at the serpent saying, "In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." St George pierced the throat of the serpent with his spear and trampled it with his horse. Then he told the girl to bind the serpent with her sash, and lead it into the city like a dog on a leash.

The people fled in terror, but the saint halted them with the words: "Don't be afraid, but trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in Him, since it is He Who sent me to save you." Then the saint killed the serpent with a sword, and the people burned it outside the city. Twenty-five thousand men, not counting women and children, were then baptized. Later, a church was built and dedicated to the Most Holy Theotokos and the Great Martyr George.
