Aunt Hildy fell and broke her arm.
She lives by herself and couldn't drive to the hospital and I happened to stop by her house to see if she could help me with my History homework.
(She is quite old, you see.)
However, when she did not answer the door, I let myself in since it was unlocked.
Lo and behold, there she was (Poor old thing) laying on the floor and in pain.
I helped her onto the motorcycle that I borrowed from my best friend, Herman, and took her to the E.R.
On the way there, a policeman pulled me over for speeding and upon seeing the problem, escorted us to the hospital.
It took almost 8 hours for a doctor to examine Aunt Hildy because there were so many other emergency calls due to a big train wreck nearby.
(You haven't heard about that?)
Anyway, by the time I got Auntie back home, it was almost time to get ready for bed to get 4 hours sleep before school started.
and THAT'S why I didn't do my homework.

Caught my Willie Wonka in my zipper after visiting the loo, blinding pain forced me to the hospital. I have a splint now and can not focus on homework due to the large amounts of morphine I am currently using.
