Wow, what a crazy 2 months that was! I'd like to thank all who voted for me, and all who competed with me. Also, I'd like to thank Wayfriend for his hard work; those Immunity questions had to be as hard to come up with as they were to answer! Words fail to describe how I feel right now, but fortunately, THIS comes pretty close.

You've come a long way Mr. Underscores. I still remember when you were a wee laddie, heckling everyone who played Win Wayfriend's Money from the sidelines. Now you're all grown up, and you played your heart out for cold hard cash. :tears: I'm so proud.

:)

Well, I have another 500, so here goes.

This Week's Contest

This weeks contest is to create a comic book super-hero character based on a game found in Mallorys. The character can be either good or evil, human or non-human, either with real superpowers or ordinary with enhancements, either one of a team of super-heroes or a rogue agent, and either the victim of a strange accident or the beneficiary of an implausible gift.

Your entry must include (a) a picture, (b) a detailed description, and (c) an origin story. The picture may be hand drawn, or something concocted on the computer by cut&paste. As per usual, there is no penalty for not being a graphic artist.

The winner will receive the standard 500 WGD prize. The judging will be based on theme, ingenuity, humor, and whether it would win if it battled any of the other entries. Audience participation is encouraged, appreciated, and applied to the results.

No, Silly. That's a game found in Mallorys based on comic book super hero characters. Not a comic book super-hero character based on a game found in Mallorys.

hmm...
I no longer frequent Mallorys. Could someone verify if the game "Mad Hatter" is still located in there for me? I played it when it was in GT...

Yes, Mad Hatter is still in Mallory, but has been dormant since January of 2008.

But I can base my character on it, right? Or need I base my character on a game in Mallorys that's based on a character in that game?

Sure. If you can wrap your head around a comic book super-hero based on a Mallorys game based on comic book super-heroes.

But, to answer the larger question, I did say based on "a game". Not "someone's post in a game". So, for example, I was looking for a super-hero based on "ABC Dinasaur Names", but not one based on "Quickysaurus". I hope that answers your question.

Then again, "based on" is a matter of interpretation, and my rules often fly out the window before the games over.

So, if I started a game in Mallorys, like, say "The Continuing Adventures of Supur-Vile", or maybe "The Saga Of The Sarangrave-Thing", or possible even "The Human Caamora" then I could base may character on that?

Well... hrmmm.... ok. I should say, it has to be a game that began before the contest started. But I won't. Instead, I'll say: it's not a game unless at least three people are playing.

Well, you never know, sarge. Possibly the contest won't close until you enter. But you never can be sure.
