A character from the new series.
Spoiler
Frostheart Grueburn - would Zorm pick anything other than a giant?? Well, maybe a hairy dwarf.
Monsters, they eat
Your kind of meat
And they're moving as far as they can
And as fast as they can

Now, your turn, but don't go quoting any of the dwarves you stole and shaved from top to bottom!

I only shaved the bottoms. everyone loves a dwarf with a smooth butt.
And now, the new quote just for Zorm:
“I am sent to bear witness to the downfall of Giants.”

:whip: :(

The cold undead-ish guy...Hoerkin, I think. I went through sections of TIW only a few days ago for 'inspiration', that one included, as someone suggested I might try illustrating the Coercri massacre...

Next:

"I can't find any proof." "Isn't that what you wanted? Isn't that what you need?"

For a clue I can tell it was neither a dwarf nor an ur-vile. :P

Hint: It's a woman.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess Linden...
...based on the clues
...and the fact that I hear that quote in my head in her tone of voice. :)

(Forgot this game existed.. tend to forget about stickied threads for some reason.)
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor

"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"

No, and for the next clue, it's not from a Linden book.

Figures, I probably did scoop up a quote too tricksy. I can attempt to select something else, should this prove overly difficult.

It's Covenant's lawyer - in the real world - isn't it?
