Oooh ...

geez different things for different things.
So gonna go this way .. movies are like special .. generally enjoy a better budget .. so gonna go with that.
But a great series is fab .. GoTs has been fab imo .. a great way to step out the books. I dont care that it hasnt strictly followed the narrative of the books. I love what they have done bringing them to life. Same with Walking Dead .. theyve brought the comics to life too. Yes theyve diverted somewhat .. but not bad. Outlander, The Handmaids Tale, Star Trek, WestWorld, god Battlestar Galactica etc. Great productions .. so

mmm Ill still go movies

Tricky .. I rented right up until I retired ... then bought.
Mortgages these days, here at least are significant.. often more than rent .. but rent money is dead money .. at the end of the day ... I would definitely advise buying.. if and when youre in a position to.

Ok .. what would you choose .. if you were given the choice ... a complete life do over .. or the same life you have now with minimal changes? And why?
Posted: Mon Feb 18, 2019 2:44 am
by Sorus
That's a really tough question, especially when trying to answer with a level of seriousness appropriate to the venue. Without going into TMI, same life. My experiences made me who I am, and while that isn't always a good thing, it's who I am. To misquote a scene from one of my favorite books, there is no point in destroying my sense of self to replace it with one that is easier to approve of.
