Is it working yet? I keep getting stuck at the loading screen.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

So, my net connection screws up, I get disconnected. Again. No big deal, jsut log back in, right?
The authentication server is down. :-x Apparently it's been down for about half an hour, now. Once you're off, you can't get back on.
Oh, and I lost my connection right as I was pulling a mob, nice.

I had trouble, a couple of days ago, where it wouldn't accept my password. I had to change it to get on.

Ugh. I never even got one of those authentication things because they won't ship to a PO box and I can't get mail at home. (Neighbors steal it.)

Looks like I won't be there at midnight either - even though I requested the day off two months ago and confirmed last week that I would actually have it off, I got scheduled to work anyway. Gotta love retail.

Oh, and I revised my 'things to do when I hit 80' list - 'kill Dr. Weavil' is now at the top.

Always look to see how much health a mob has before you attack. Even if they're only level 63. 8O

Welp, Orgrimmar was just attacked by the Scourge, and Thrall has declared that the Horde will move against Arthas in Northrend. Varian Wrynn has also set up camp in SW harbor to prepare for the Alliance's own assault.

Hrm. I just found out what it's going to take to build a motorbike in WotLK. I didn't realise, but it requires Exalted with the Alliance/Horde faction to get the recipe, and once you have it, you can buy the parts from the same vendor - in a limited supply (with a long reset timer), for 1000-3000g depending on the part. You need 8 of the 1000g parts to make one bike, and one each of the more expensive ones.
Looks like bikes will be quite rare for a while. Not quite as rare as the Grand Caravan Mammoth, but close.

Boo. Blizzard has broken the ingame mail system, so realms are down indefinately. Apparently people were losing 1000s of gold from AH sales that were disappearing in the mail.

Edit: still no projected end to maintenance. Was a message saying they'd provide an update within two hours - two hours later, a new message stating they'll update after another two hours. Meh.

Awesome! Sorry I missed that.

Still offline. Niiice timing, Blizzard.

On the bright side, I do have Thursday off again, so I will be out at midnight with the rest of the crazy geeks. :P

Since it is probably not legal to walk down the street with a crossbow and giant saber-toothed cat, I will not, however, be participating in the costume contest.

Three hour maintenance just started to fix a new problem. I'm beginning to think I'll still be 69 at the start of next week...

I'll be picking it up Thursday morning. The nearest midnight opening is 30 miles away.

In the next day, Murrin, pm me your contact info. I'll send out your copy first thing.
