I didn't understand a word of the rest of your message. You are from Transylvania? I did see the Rocky Horror Show on the telly once.

Norman - Sue Thompson
I mean the galaxy named Transylvania) Perhaps the story didn't touch you, I guess that also happens, or you just didn't pay much attention. It may not look like much at a glance, most of it is in how it feels, especially for some people.

Afraid you'll have to give me up as a lost cause, Eff. All I can remember is a sort of house party, where 2 of the people were dressed normally and the rest were in fancy dress, and the Monster Mash? Or is that entirely the wrong film?

Princess in Rags - Gene Pitney (sigh, sigh - we used to have all girl Gene Pitney parties when I was 14. I have this one on an vynil EP)
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!

Well, I've caught a few glimpses of a film on the TV some time ago. About a guy whose dad dressed weirdly, in black helmets and cloaks; and he totally embarrassed his son, who didn't really get the fact that was his father even to start with; though they were likely both lacking some marbles, because they and some other characters carried some variously colored flashlights with them and even tried fencing with them 8O

Some people say it's in the fantastic genre, dunno, didn't see any mentionable special effects. Just have a look at Harry Potter! Those are special effects, can't fail to see them.

Eff, you should know by now, I don't get points in this context (or probably any other). When I first joined the Watch I made the comment "if I have anything useful to say". I'm not an analyser, I take things at face value, therefore I am often too gullible. I'm trying to learn though, so that I can understand the Chronicles a bit more.

I didn't mean anything overly complicated) Just have a look at the Star Wars description I gave - it's the closest analogy to how your RHPS description looks to me) In fact, any story could be retold like that)

The RHPS description is technically correct), just like the one I gave. To be more specific, you let out a mad scientist with his creation, aliens, antimatter lasers and a lot more)

Gosh, that's a wide question. I haven't been to the cinema for years, not since I took the children to Disneys I think. Most of what I've seen has been on telly or videos that have been bought as presies. Let me see, generally, anything with a good story, no swearing or violence and not too much sex :D

I enjoyed Forest Gump and 4 weddings (except for the first 5 minutes!) and Notting Hill. And I like period films - Sense and Sensibility for instance. I haven't seen any recent films. And I love old films, particularly Now Voyager, Casablanca etc. Pretty dull, eh?

Fat Bottomed Girls - Queen

Fat Bottomed Girls - Queen
:spew:  Especially since I know the lyrics...

And for Transylvanian aliens there can't be too much of it  Not much swearing and fantastic-styled non-serious violence, really, a laser capable of producing a beam of anti-matter  As for the story, it's actually good, but requires looking past many distracting things.

Well, it's pretty old - 36 years, if I'm not mistaken.
