Sorry, neither is correct.

CAT?

Correct!
Dissecting the Ancillary Documentation chapter on Intertech (FK 9), Cord Hurn wrote: Intertech first gained fame creating a microbe that digested plastics (sounds quite useful, indeed), then became a highly profitable company by producing a catecholamine inhibitor, a sedative that became popularly known as "cat".
Your question, Stevie.

Haha, yeah, I usually only answer the ones I know...it's very rare that I can be bothered to hunt for an answer. Asking questions however is much more difficult, so there I will usually either check out dissections, or grab a random book and pick something random. :D

I will grab a random book to ask a question, but refer to nothing but my memory to answer. Meedless to say, I haven't needed to ask a question very often. :)

Ha! Well, in this last question, I just threw half educated guesses out there - this time I didn't look it up. Was a little surprised I was correct.

I will be back with a question soon.

What does SOD-CMOS stand for?

Since it was my original (and wrong) answer to the last question... :)

Silicon on Diamond Complimentary Metal Oxide Semiconductor.

How did Warden obey, yet circumvent, Holt's order to give control of Angus to Nick?

By putting in further codes that would release him?

Close, but not quite. I'll say you're half right, but I won't tell you which half (yet...)

By embedding those codes inside the very code that gave Nick control? :D

That was the part you had right. The question is, what did those codes actually do.

Told him to turn himself over to Morn when he had the chance?

Correct!

:letsparty: :nanaparty:

More specifically,

The plain text of the message was a command using his access code/name and priority word to show the message itself to Nick. The assumption, proven correct, was that Nick would infer Angus was a cyborg, and he now had the master key to him.

The code embedded in the border was kind like the contract language in "The Santa Clause" - it took binding effect as well, and basically told him to also show the order to Morn at his earliest convenience.

Your question.

Nitpick: the embedded machine language told Angus to show the message to Davies.

Fair enough. Do you want the next question?

Thank you for the offer, but Av's answer was deemed correct; it's his place to pose the next question.

If I wanted to have to develop a new question, I would have put an answer out there when the question was still open, not waited for others to answer...then be too OCD to resist commenting on a minor discrepancy.
