It seems like travel for everyone was messed up this weekend. Hopefully everyone who isn't home yet gets there safe & sound.
My day was dissatisfyingly productive. I spent a total of around 8 hours today doing two tasks: researching grants & scholarships (so I can afford to finish school), and looking for a new place to live. Not much progress on the first, but I've got some good leads on the second. Now, I need to figure out how to pinch enough pennies to make it happen...

Finally stopped crying halfway through the first flight. Now I am having a margarita and waiting for my next flight. I miss you guys so fracking much already. Seriously.

Don't cry, Jenn, it will give you wrinkles!
Rigel- have you tried rubbing two pennies together? I hear that's how "they" make baby pennies!

My flight out of Denver left 40 minutes late, so I got to do the mad OJ Simpson dash (minus the double murder) through O'Hare and made my connection with three minutes to spare. Sadly, my suitcase did not. But I am home.
So glad I made the trip, though. Uploading my photos to Facebook right now, and I'll share the link soon.

Hoping everyone made it home ok... feel kinda guilty, since my travels went smoothly... I'm pretty sure it's not my fault, but bargaining with Elder Beings is always uncertain.

Went with Loremaster to Santa Fe this afternoon. What a fabulous little
overpriced city. Just beautiful. We explored a church and the Museum of Modern Indian Art (or something like that). Very artistic town and surprisingly green. I spent $80 on a pair of serpentine stone earrings. Never spent more than 20 bucks on jewelry before.
going home tomorrow morning.................maybe

In Kansas City now. Will get into Chicago about 1 1/2 hrs late. Will be fun dragging my bags onto the rush hour commuter train.

It was too short

I suppose that may be what makes it so special, but dammit if I didn't want to last longer.
Heading back to Albany and work.

i have to agree - anyone who wants to quit smoking just send your tobacco money to me.
i promise to convert it to art (poetry, songs, paintings or sculpture)
i will dedicate the piece to you and send a photo your way.
