:::sitting here experiencing an intense feeling of deja vu, for which I care not:::

Imagem'l-rd Bhakti, my closest friend and advisor of all the Pantheon, must you force AK to declare his intentions? At this point it has to be all bluff and bluster. Here on Eiran itself, he has very little power. Let him talk big, and you should enjoy it the way Jove does.

He is my neighbor here on Immeril, and I wish not to wind up between the two of you.

Although I will admit he surprised me with the effectivenenss of his gift to my oldest weyrling class, with as little power as he has...

Melirelle,

you are correct. it was, i'm sure, most frightening to O-gon-cho for me to express my opinion in such an abrasive manner.

all i can say is that my husband has been away awhile. ;)

its a common malady with goddesses who's husbands work all the time.
it's called Divine Crankypants!!

i have remedied the situation and taken a consort.

i feel much better today.

i do hope the two of you will accept my apology.

Settle down little godling *sneers* ... For some reason, I am feeling in a particularly good mood today ... so you do not have to fear me ... yet. Rest assured if I decide in the future to treat you as an enemy, my intentions will be unmistakable.

For now, I leave you to your larger problems.

And you too have not responded, do you now claim as well the Domain of HATE? SPEAK!! Or do you fear to acknowledge your actions before the Pantheon?!

And as to you little mistress of the air ... take care ...broker peace if you desire ... but beware your tone. It is most unseemly given your position.

Interesting choice of words, Asta, considering that you are not yet powerful enough to have a vassal.

But, I have become accustomed to your wild boasts. I admit that I cannot wait to see what you will say next.

I am happy to offer a willing ear privately if you ever need to vent about your troubles before they overcome you...

ImageMy dear Brethren,

As the Hatching approaches, it is time for the candidates to come to Zandarar to settle in to weyr life and to be instructed on proper decorum on the Hatching Grounds. Are there any among you who wish for my assistance in transporting your candidates cross the Great Waters to get here? There are things you need to be aware of if I send any of the 150 to transport your candidates, so your candidates can attempt to prepare themselves for the jump between. It's a short but interesting experience.

Private responses are fine, if you wish.

m'L-rd Astavyastataa Kadna, I still have not heard a reply on if the offer of three adults to transport your candidates suffices. I am confident your followers are able to cross the desert on their own; but my offer still stands, if you are interested.

I need to hear soon, brethren, so those who generously offered to provide said transport may prepare themselves for the endeavor.

You may transport them by air with your adults. They will await your arrival at the landing site. Your service is acknowledged. *nods*

Goddess of Light,

What with an alien invasion and a continent rocking on its foundations, i am sorry that I have not had a chance to consider your offer regarding the hatching candidates.

Perhaps however, if some of your dragons were to observe my people's evacuation of Thellarr, you might spot some candidates with potential and invite them to the Hatching?

ImageBrother Undine, this is completely understandable, considering your current situations.Image

ImageWhile they would not be happy to be out of the weyr during a Hatching, especially the inaugural one in a new weyr, shall I send some on my followers to help with the evacuations? I will admit that several of my draconic followers would be gifted in th ability to Search for likely candidates and if any are found, they may head back to the weyr as soon as one or more are found, as the Hatching is so immenent...Image

Sister O-Gon-Cho,

While I hope your help is not urgently required, I thank you for your offer!

If you are falling short of your quota, feel free to search my followers. However, I will understand if other matters demand your attention.

In the meantime, I will look forward to my followers impressing in the second hatching, perhaps!

ImageNow it is my Turn to thank you for your offer. Sending dragons out on Search has not always been well received from the Histories I am learning.

I am far short of having enough candidates to offer a choice to all of the hatchlings as they emerge from the cracked shells. But even my beloved Raucous was non-Impressed for a while after he graduated from weyrling training and was fully mature. For that all praise goes to the AllFather, for if he had Impressed sooner, I would probably be still buried under the sands of the desert on Immeril.

:::speaking of that desert, m'L-rd Astavyastataa Kadna, would you like the honor of bestowing a name on to it? It is the place of my own Hatching, but as you are the newcomer to Immeril, I pass the honor to you, if you wish:::

That said, since you are accepting of having your followers Searched, I will take advantage of the offer over the next few days. And, as long as I have Searchers out, they may as well assist your followers while they are there. Look for brown Donnan and his Rider Maartin (for some reason the browns, even more so than the large bronzes, are the best at Searching) when they arrive, and have an organized follower show them how they could help while the Search.

Thank you, m'l-rd...

I have returned. In my absence, I see we have a new deity. Instead of the usual welcome, I merely have this to say to the lord of chaos and destruction: Your manner and the content of your words leave much to desire. Weak you may be, but you seem to regard threatening words to make up for this. With one utterance I could ravage the flesh of your followers, turn your cities into monstrous distortions of wood and stone, and transform your rivers and forests into heaving wounds. I therefore suggest you withhold your hasty words and learn to coexist with the pantheon.

The supreme god has spoken.
