Medievil times for me. I can relate more having working at Rennaissance Festivals. Learned a lot and lived it a little while it was enjoyable.
Would you rather be more active at night or during the day?

I consider myself a morning person, but what I call morning, a lot of people consider to be night. It's all a matter of perspective.
A glitch in reality has given you a chance to reroll your stats - (Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma) - do you roll the dice, or keep your default settings?

Keep the default setting! I'm a "glass-half-full" type of thinker, who doesn't want to "mess with the mojo".
Prefer honey or maple syrup?

I like both, but am more likely to have honey around because it keeps better and I like to support my local bees.
Live in the Game of Thrones universe, or live in the Harry Potter universe?

Harry Potter, for sure. Less rapey.
Live in Middle Earth, or the Star Wars 'verse?

Middle Earth for me
Live on a farm in a rural setting or inner city urbanscapes?

Farm in a rural setting. Have done the city thing all my life and could use a change of scenery.
Farm/garden to grow flowers/decorative plants, or farm/garden to grow herbs/vegetables?

Why do you make these so hard?

I'll be brutally honest and say that so much of me says it "should" be herbs/vegetables*...
...but my heart sings to flowers!!
Which project would you more delight in being a part of the creation of?
...making a yard into a quaint garden bursting with flowers.. (pick the most beautiful garden you seen... imagine it gets to be THAT beautiful, though not necessarily a copy of the ideas!)
...or innovating to create funky green spaces in an urban setting in ways that are either new or have never been tried before? (possibly multiple stories above the ground!)
(I can make them hard too... see?)
P.S. I love this game.
* And basil and garden-grown tomatoes are an argument unto themselves!

I'd have to choose the yard garden
I can do my best work when I'm down and dirty.
Besides, I would be more comfortable with my feet on the ground rather than up in a tall building.
A cozy little beach house on an island, or a big ranch house on 200 acres of open area?
(Why not the other choice?)

so tough. I'm a country girl, so I want the land.
but the "give me land, lots of land, under starry skies above..." actually only appeals to my musical aesthetic. (it is what it is, okay?)
I actually want forests, mountains and rushing rivers. (Think "Appalachia!" or "Ozarks!" or the Smokies.)
(tick-tock-tick-tock.)
I'm going to say that the beach house is in Indonesia, and so yes to it.
Say you're considering a cross-cultural move.
Which of these seems to appeal to you more:
* people are more closely intertwined in each-others' lives, but your privacy suffers.
* people have what is (or seems to be) more emotional distance, but it's a fascinating culture with many Western ways; their average number of meters of personal space is larger than what you're used to.
I want a knee-jerk reaction...

Oh god this is hard
Are you asking us to choose between close cohabitation with involve less personal space and privacy WITH greater geographical distance between habitation .. therefore greater privacy and personal space?
If so absolutely the latter .. I treasure my personal space and privacy.
I dont want to live on top of others. Plus not that keen on humans generally. I have humans that I particularly like and could happily coexist with them but beyond that Im not a fan.
But if I had to coexist in close quarters with animals .. Id jump at it ...
Ok choices?? What HAVENT we covered?

Naughty things?
Are you a rule keeper or a rule breaker?

I am a rule keeper - I can have people roll their eyes sometimes.
I am known on returning things to grocery shelves if I decide not to buy it, go out of my way to place carts in the cart corrals, turn in loose money on floor to customer service (well at least anything larger then a dollar) etc
If someone is unnecessarily rude to you
- do you ignore it and move along
- or give them a nasty look and/or say something to them

Paris in the 20s!! Gad, is that even a choice?!
Vacay: hiking in Ireland, or Disney Orlando?

Hiking in Ireland, because then I could bring my husband without him being unhappy. (?)
Also, beautiful, and... actually it would be really fun.
I'm gonna modify & re-use Sam's question:
If someone is unnecessarily rude to you
- do you ignore it and move along
- or stare at them like they are from another planet, have two heads and seven arms, and/or have just been a total jerkwad*? (and/or say something to them)
* My sister liked the expression "a total jerkwad" when we were growing up, okay?
Posted: Thu May 02, 2019 1:49 am

Depends on the context, but generally ignore it and move on. (Usually while having an internal argument where I accuse myself of being spineless and counter with the fact that it's not worth getting into a fight with a total jerkwad.)
You have $100 that must be spent on either books OR music. Which do you choose?
Posted: Thu May 02, 2019 5:40 pm
by samrw3
On books easily. I love music but not enough to spend hardly any many for it especially since I get "free" music as part of Amazon Prime - yes I know the "free" is baked into the annual fee but if Amazon Prime turned off the music feature I would still pay for Prime for the deliveries and some Amazon pricing.
Anyways....
If you could change to (or remain if you consider yourself one of these personality types)
Change to/remain super aggressive and bold
Or change to/remain super meek and timid
[sidebar - I tend to be more on the scale of being meek and timid and when I was younger I would have chose to be aggressive and bold but now I see the advantages of being my personality so I would choose to remain]
Ok how about the next poster?

I'm somewhere in the middle and would prefer to stay there, but if forced to chose - super aggressive and bold, but in a position where that's an asset. (I wanted to be invisible when I was young. Grew up to work jobs where I felt invisible, and found it really wasn't enjoyable.)
Shower in the morning, or shower in the evening?

Evening - I like to go to bed feeling clean, not dirty and sweaty.
East coast or West coast beaches?

by StevieG
If you're talking about Australia

(yeah I know you're not, but that is the only context I have)...
In my state, East Coast is far superior for swimming, and West Coast is way more rugged, windy and sand-duney! Nationally, East Coast is pretty awesome, West Coast is equally awesome. East is generally more sheltered, and West is more windy.
On the whole, East. In the US, I have absolutely no idea.
So, East Coast or West Coast beaches in the US?

Well Im in the same boat as you StevieG lol
So will defer to a yank
