That depends

At the moment, I'm in Germany because I'm pursuing my Ph.D. degree at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research. It's in Heidelberg, which is a very beautiful little town, and widely considered the most romantic German town.
All in all, it's a very nice place... most people use bikes rather than cars, there's lots of greenery, most people speak English fluently (especially since there are two American villages and one of the largest American bases in Europe here), and the University is a scientific paradise. Literally.
Apart from having one of the most research-intensive universities in the world, especially in the field of neurosciences, the town also hosts the German Cancer Research Center, the Center for Molecular Biology, the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, the Institute for Theoretical Physics, the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, and so on... this creates a very international atmosphere where you can meet people from India, China, Japan, Italy, Spain, the US, Canada, Venezuela, Colombia and so on just as often as you would meet Germans. It's very nice

My apologies, Xar. I have forgotten this. Thanks for reminding me. Can I say how lucky you are? My god, the famed Max Planck Institute for Astronomy . . . . amazing.

Nice pictures, Xar! Heidelberg looks like a lovely place, and the tiramisu looks heavenly! Did you make it yourself?

Heidelberg is indeed a lovely place, Lyr... almost everyone I know, after visiting it, fell in love with it. Myself included
As for the tiramisu, nope, I didn't... as said before, that's from one of the best cafès in the Old Town. I just thought I would cause a stir among the ravenous Watch members with that picture

You know, Guns. . . I think it is adorable how devoted you are to your wife. It makes me believe in romance and relationships again--something I sorely needed as I lately have begun to question whether any relationships can truly work out.

Thanks for the compliments! She and I are the best of friends...that is the key right there. That is not the best picture of her..she is incredibly cute!
Anyway...if you find a friend and you can survive adding sex to the mix...you will succeed. Also, always tell the truth..no matter how stupid the truth makes you look, or how bad it makes your other look.

Good advice. Not telling the truth makes everything so complicated.
