I would NEVER take you as the "knuckleduster" type, what gives? you going Fight Club on us?variol son wrote:I feel sore - some idiot broke my nose at a club last night (and chipped my tooth) and I can't go to the doctor until pay day in two days time. That sucks. I hate university administration. Heh. Everything is always complicated. Sounds like it worked out all right for you though, so that's good. When does your class start? If you need help at all, just let me know. I'm not a chemistry wiz, but I know the basics well enough, heh. (PV=nRT!!! Heh.)Alynna Lis Eachann wrote:Managed to get registered for chemistry class. Unfortunately, I've discovered that I apparently mis-typed my SSN when applying for admission to the community college (because apparently you can't just go take the bloody class). So now I have to go down there and convince them that I am who I say I am. What actually troubles me more is the guy from the IT help desk who gave me an account ID to register online for class after I told him the correct SSN (which would appear wrong to him) and nothing more than my name and birth date. And we wonder why identity theft is so prevalent... I'm grateful, though, because I really did not want to brave the Registrar's Office two days before classes start. Crowds and I do not a good combination make.
Heh...sorry. I can fail a few semesters to fall behind a bit, if you want. Heck, I still have to do this thesis thing. I may not finish that thing until next year for all that I know.Alynna Lis Eachann wrote:Still feeling unaccomplished, though. Maybe it's cause Jay's gonna graduate with a Master's before I even start accruing credits for mine...
Nah. I accidentally knocked his girlfriends sisters drink out of her hand while I was dancing at a club so he punched me.The Esmer wrote:shheeesh! what up with that? We're pretty safe here (thank goodness). I survived the Canberra Fires back in 2002 (it was a living hell and the most scariest experience of my life--had such an impact on me I now hate the smell of wood fires...which used to be one of my favourite things). But even if the fires get here, I'm about 3 minutes sprint from the beach...and worse case scenario I do actually live across the road from our local CFA (Country Fire Authority) station!sgtnull wrote:Seareach: hope all is well. we had many brush fires here in Texas. The one at Tyrendara, about an hour away. They won't reach me, but...Seareach wrote:We're pretty safe here (thank goodness).
