ahhh! a postmodern reference to Foucoultian philisophy! The metanymic reference to pre-constructionist thought in the rabbit 'proof' statement. Possibly a further reference to Hegelian school of thought? Bloody dull, yes I thought that too of post-industrialist Russian culture in the context, and framing, of the neo-modernist view.

I did find Whalerider more 'immediate' (on the emotional front) I admit, but liked both. I link the two, insofar as they are the most recent dvds I have watched.

It did get rave reviews but I thought they could have done more to it but then it was based on a real story was it not?

Ok, allow me to clarify. Much though I would like to take credit for the somewhat overblown and, dare I say, pretentious joke Ur-Vile seems to have spotted in my simple comment (

), it was in fact a humble jest; an implication that I sat and watched an actual fence of the rabbit proof variety and found it dull viewing.
