Believe me, I WASN'T taking the piss out of either of you, Luci or MM!

I needed to show you what I had to wait 15 months to get at work - before I kicked up enough of a stink, I was having to cope with a 512MB RAM pissant Dell desktop PC with a 17" CRT monitor....

Dont show me what Dallas has - it's probably a Mac Pro with all the bells & whistles, which is what I REAALLLY asked for...

Augh, everyone's so neat and tidy. I actually took a snap of my desk and uploaded it and all, and then I chickened out of posting it because it's a dusty, cluttered MESS.

Definitely too steep a chellenge for my social-anxiety-ridden self. *wibbles*

Props to all the neat people, though. ;)

Very nice, Vain!

And jwaneeta, everyone knows that artists can only create in suitable environments--if messy works for you, go for it!

The boys have kicked me out of my office downstairs (well, ok - I let 'em.) So I set one up in my bedroom.

From left to right you see my TV (digital cable box and DVD / VHS player recorder); my HP 7410 Officejet All-in-one. A Crosley CR Recorder that can convert records (anyone remember records?) to CDs; on the desk is a new Dell hi def 20 inch widescreen monitor with audio bar; on the desk is a wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse; and last but not least two computers. The one open is my Dell XPS M1330. Underneath is a Fujitsu tablet that I use for work.

And of course the odds and ends adapters and wires in the draw.

That's my spot.

[PS. you can see Rusty the Rottweiler on the floor and Sammy the doberman on the bed. Ginger (the other doberman) was out of camera shot.]

LOL

When my children got over 18 yrs old I couldn't put them in anymore!!!

Actually, it's Rusty's bed/crate; tho when I am home he is usually snuggling up to daddy on the bed. 150 lbs of teeth and muscle - and daddy's little baby!
