We have a lot of people signed up to do dissections . . . yet most of them aren't participating now. Given that the Runes dissection saw a large drop-off of participation after the first few chapters, is anyone else worried about the current lack of participation? Or is a vocal core of participants enough?

Don't worry Malik, we've done this before, please step back, we're trained professonals. 
No, we have backups and are required to fill in as moderators. This stuff happens every dissection. 
I promise I'll try to keep current and actually reread the book this time. Besides you've got lurch to keep you company.

Yes indeed, Seareach started an announcement for the dissection some time ago, and I just now updated it.

Don't worry. Things will REALLY kick up a knotch once I post my awesome dissection for Chapter 3. It. Will. Be. EPIC.
Someone may also want to post an announcement about the dissection in the announcements forum. I'll also see if I can update the .com site this weekend to announce what's going on around here.-jay

Something has come up for me.. I will need somebody to take over my section;

It about 4 1/2 months away, so that may be plenty of lead time.

I'm sure there's a plan for dealing with things like this, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who will say this, but I'd love to do another chapter. If there's a sign-up sheet, put my name down.

I personally wouldn't mind getting a chapter. I missed the Runes dissection due to my absence from the Watch.....but I am here to stay now.

Well after our "who's more newbieish than the other discussion" clearly, there is no arguement. The chapter is yours Ur-bane (ur.... if I have a say.)
