I'm sure all the nitty-gritty details that went back and forth via PM were even cooler. Would there be any way that all of those hidden details could be made public as well, since all of that would become canonical history for this new game?
Yeah, I have thought about making all the old turn details public. There wouldn't be much point releasing the parts which were "at X you found Z; or you SCROUNGED X SCRAP", but I could upload all of the in character stuff. I don't have a record of the in character PMs, but I could make as much as possible available.
I have started writing up some of the new and old factions, cults, locations etc - some of these include extracts from old turn results as part of "Historical Documents". Anything I don't think I'll use I'll make public when I request a Borderlands thread to be opened.
Also, you could request the records from the players, if they still have them.

So, do the WFRP rules include modern / future modules? Rules for snipers, artillery, technology of any kind, etc? I'm partial to D20 modern / D20 future, just because I know they exist. If WFRP can do the job too, all the better.
They don't have modern rules, but Dark Heresy does. It's pretty much exactly the same rules system, and I might just adapt the gun stats etc from that. I don't want to spend two years writing up gun and equipment lists, so I'll probably add them as they are needed.
Tech has decreased in most parts of the Waste since the strat game. Many people would be armed with glorified 'pop-guns' or home-made muskets etc. Better weapons are certainly available, though they are becoming rarer.

Also, way back in the day, Murrin posted a link to the Steampunk Guide to the Apocalypse. The actual book is no longer there. Anyone who can help me fill this empty gaping hole in my life would be very much appreciated. It looked hella cool all by itself.
I remember skimming that and it was quite good. PM Murrin and I'm sure he'll help if he can.

I have not deleted the Sisters of Solace user account, so still have my PMs if needed, Montresor. I have also saved both Orders and Results for the Sisters, again, if either should be needed on top of what you already have.

Can you cut and paste the PMs into an email and send it to me?
I still have all of the turn results saved, so I don't need those.

It will take awhile, as I need to winnow the wheat from the chaff. I tend to unnecessarily PM a lot.
But, I'm sure that comes as no surprise to anyone.
Also, since the laptop that I used to play the game has died, could you verify that your email address remained the same as when we sent in Orders?

My email address is the same.

...and sent.
I truly hope you can make sense of that.
There wasn't a lot of role playing behind the scenes on The Sisters part, but formatting it for email was not easy...

Managed to find its new location for you:

It's a bit slow to load for me, though.

Well, no guarantees, but betwen Halloween coming up, and SteamCon coming next weekend, I have this strange idea to build myself a
Brother Owen costume. If it works out, pictures will be posted. All credit goes to Loremaster, of course. (Or Dorian, if his comments in the original Borderlands threads are to be believed.)
p.s. - The beauty of this costume is that I can post pictures of myself on the Interwebs, and still maintain anonymity.

Very cool. I cannot wait to see it.
Regarding the idea of the SP; it's all mine. I had no idea at the time that Dorian was going to use gasmasks for his faction. The idea developed separately.

I was thinking about a Lovecraft game, and I came to the conclusion that it is possible. So I will run a game, starting in December.

Just last night, I watched a live production of "Madness Out of Time."
But please don't let Ivan languish because you're enjoying shattering our frail little psyches.

Most excellent. *steeples fingers* Will this be using Call of Cthulhu rules, or something different?

Please oh please use one of the following sets that I already know... if I had to get my head around an entirely different game system, I'd probably go as mad as my character.
D&D 3.5
World of Darkness (Old or New)
WFRP
