i didn't expect, I was just remembering. I had those early on. may have even got them from someone in fact.

i can remember leaving some Avengers. (when Ultron attacked, Wonder Man had a truly hideous outfit) in my fourth grade classroom and finding them there a few years later at an open house at the school. wish I had those back now.

Yeah, I went back and got all the Ultron stories. I had (probably still have somewhere) a paperback of short stories, one of which was This Evil Undying, by Shooter. Great short story. The comic version of it was good, but didn't quite get it. I guess the main thing missing was Hawkeye's mouth. Things like Thor saying he was late because he had business beyond the mortal realm, and Hawkeye saying, "Yeah, I hear the God of Potato Salad's been real busy since picnic season started."
