I went back upstairs, completed filling the bath, turned around and his sister was sitting on the floor behind me with one of my socks which she had brought to me as if to say "I want to play too!" :)
Those are both cute!

Nice one!

Mine won't even share the laser pointer. And Penny is working hard at becoming the dominant cat. Little rascal.

I don't think I have a dominant cat. My ferals had a complex hierarchy. I'd say of my current brood, they all probably believe they're the dominant cat, but they don't feel strongly enough about it to quarrel. A little bit like Discworld witches.

Oh, that is funny...

I am caring for a neighbor's cats this week.
They have one male less than a year old that is friendly, playful, and cuddly. (has a good purr on him)
The female is certainly not feral, but she is standoffish.

^Btw, I totally shared this gem with a tired tutoring student of mine like 2 or 3 days ago.

Jungle-Explorer Cat is hilarious!
Sorus wrote:Awww... Is that Harley or Penny?
It's totally Harley.

My family had a barn-cat with markings similar to Penny when I was growing up.
(We gave her the surely-original name of "Tabitha.")

Right, Penny is the one with more white. Looks like I need to find a new image-hosting thingy. Photobucket is no longer my friend.

That is indeed Harley. She is the cutest, Penny is the naughtiest. The GF recently got a thing about plants, so half my flat suddenly looks like a tropical rainforest. :D The cats are alternating between digging stuff up and chewing on stuff.

Jungle Explorer Cat (TM) was good enough for me to send my sister the link over e-mail. :)
She thinks Harley is contemplating the tastiness of those plants.
I had thought the kitty was striking a pose - or perhaps experiencing astonishment that the plants did not yield and move out of her way before she got so close.
But I will have to take this possibility into consideration.

True. (I was having the same problem with photobucket too, methinks.)
Glad that I downloaded "Kara: I have a taaaaaaaail!"

That "YAY, plants - yay, a mini-jungle inside the home is awesome!" was also my internal reaction, Sky-ey.
(btw, the kids loved your plantie emoticons!)

But I didn't think Av could take the positivity, so I stayed silent!

:LOLS: Oh, she will love that. :D And tell me how absolutely right you are. :D

I'm fine with other people's positivity Linna. :D Just don't expect me to reciprocate. ;)

As for what the cat was thinking...I have no idea what goes on in their tiny brains. :D It amuses me to speculate, but I know all I'm doing is anthropomorphising. :D

Spent yesterday morning rescuing a mouse from Harley, and then last night Penny brought in another egg. This is her 3rd and it was a large one...bigger than a pigeon egg anyway.

What the hell is it with this cat and eggs?
