I
have mellowed with age.

Anyway, they can alleviate the guilt just by turning up.

Got up too early in the morning for a conference call. The call organizer was trying to find the best time for callers from around the world. Not easy. At least it wasn't the middle of the night for me, like it was for some people.

At work early in the morning as usual. Holidays already a distant memory. Meh.

As is my current circumstance I feel detached from the Watch. I had grown accustomed to freely posting before clocking in in the morning and again at lunch time but the restrictions of my phone make every post tiresome so being prolific is no longer possible.
I miss the good old days.

So you hear what he's saying, guys?
We are supposed to SET UP the kinds of jokes and threads where aTOMic can pop in with a perfectly-poised one-liners!
Speaking of setting people up in conversations...
Skyweir- the whole thing with when people drop in to say hi...
I think it would be cool if when we had visits from formerly-MIA Watchers, we would go find some topic CANNOT RESIST talking about...
...and bump the thread on that topic (if still current) with a thoughtful comment.
Or.. *deep breath* ...sometimes create a new thread in hopes that we can "build it and they will come." (back)
But... it might be a lot of trouble.
I mean, it wouldn't just be keeping track of what our friends' obsessions are, and what their favorite discussions on the Watch are/were...
...but also figuring out how to engage that topic.
(at this point in the post, I feel like a spammer trying to sell something - even if it's just an idea - so I'll stop now...)

January and February feel like the year's Monday coming off of all the fun of the year's weekend. Not that March and April are any picnic being the year's Tuesday.

After how great Nier: Automata was, I got it into my head that I should play Nier and Drakengard 3, but they're PS3 games, and the PS4 has no backwards compatibility. I'm not paying #60-80 for an old console to play just a couple games. I'm annoyed now.

Ah well, here we go again...another Monday. Been hot as hell, but not too bad a weekend I guess...Oh...except for having to visit the GF's grandmother in hospital...meh.

Haven't looked deeply into it, but I've heard there isn't currently a working emulator version.

Someone talk me out of buying a PS3 just to play two games. (I seriously can't find any other PS3 games I want to play that aren't available on PC or PS4 in some fashion, and yet I'm still tempted.)

Upgrade your PC instead.
(I have personally resisted the temptation to buy a console just so I could play Red Dead Redemption, so you can do it too...)
(Uh, do you know anybody with a PS3 you can borrow?)
