God, on Menolly's facebook page wrote:... that it's okay to receive. Have you been the giver for so long that you have forgotten how to receive? Allow others to give you some of the love that you give so freely. Seek a balance between your giving and your receiving...
I think that's sealed the deal. I'm incorrigably hellbound now. Worth it though.

(Edit) Somehow missed this, but Menolly's response to this advice was:
Menolly wrote:^Sponge
I take that to mean she's prepared to give a good scrub so long as she receives a proper wringing out.

On another thread while playing with words I said this to Effy:

Sorry for the confusion, Iolanthe. There is no "so", at least to the extent that I was not making a point other than to take an innocent post elsewhere on the Watch, quote it out of context here, and attempt to cast that as a risqué remark.

No offense intended; it is just what we do in The Double Entendre Game. Yes, it's rather adolescent...but all in fun.

(I'm starting to sound like Brinn's first post in this thread, back almost nine years ago!)

Ärr...it's like Rime's sword joke. Sorry. Shame on you, SD!
(Seems like I've had to explain lots of these lately...as a revenge, I'll look up something juicy and creamy from SD's prior posts. >D )

I've certainly left lots of fodder for that out there, Frosty.

However, you are making it too easy for me...

Sounds like a yummy view. Maybe I will kneel down and appreciate that perspective along with you. :P

Iolanthe's confusion may stem from the US usage of 'wood'.

In our civilised parts we use wood to stoke fires rather than the less savory (or creamy  ) purposes to which you uncouth New Worlders put it.

P.S. I hope I provided enough fuel for a few more turns around the double entendrousel

Nay, SD, you have chosen the wrong camp, remember my genus is of the gourd variety; vessels of soft rind and filled with tender flesh
